Welding Six Cell Antennas Onto a 150-Ft Water Tower from Just Two Ground Setups (150-Ft Boom Lift)

International telecom infrastructure provider hired Alpha Platforms to replace broken cell antennas and weld them to a 150’ water tower. It required full access around the entire tank to install antennas.
Alpha Platforms deployed its state-of-the-art A-175 truck-mounted aerial platform with a 12’-wide, 1,322-lb load capacity cage to fit two welders, welding equipment, and the antennas, with enough space to do it all safely.
After a 15-minute setup, Alpha's IPAF-certified operator maneuvered the lift all day, reaching multiple access points using just two setup locations at the foot of the tower.
The client cut the planned work time by 1.5 days as a result of an extra operator managing the lift without needing to descend, move the truck, and constantly restart the job.
