Ok, so these 200w SP3 models are basically 3 of the smaller SP1's wired in series. The open circuit voltage on SP1 is 30ish

Yes exactly. They weren't trying to over complicate it I guess. Just use the same process to create a larger panel.

Hey Beene, what happens if you hook it up to a 12V system ? I'd be very curious. Cheers, Bas

I'm curious. The 60 W thin panels I got from you, it also has those bumps. Do you think it also could have bypass diodes? I've seen interesting behavior in produced wattage when plugged in series or parallel.

Yep I think they have the bypass diodes as well!

I bought 4 of these to use to make a solar Bimini for a sailboat. Do you know what type of plastic the backsheet is made from?

Wish I knew! I'm fairly certain there were 3M products used in constructing the panels. But that's not much to go off of.

Love the footprints on the panel. Are these panels you are selling? If so, how much? These seem perfect for an RV roof.

Ha ha yeah I debated wiping them off but thought they added to the “what the heck” factor.
I’ve got them up on the website now! BeeneBrothers.com

@@BeeneEnergy That seems to be the case with a lot of solar companies.

@@SetitesTechAdventures Especially ones in the US! I think it was because they only started because of government incentives, and when those were gone they weren’t profitable enough to continue.
