He is a big dancer with a great technique but his disproportional body looks very irritating and not pleasant: very short and at the same time extremely muscular legs like bodybuilder's legs make him look not a ballet dancer but an athlet. He is not elegant at all as ballet dancers are supposed to be.
Ballet is athletic art, it takes a lot of hard work to do those jumps and turns, I know that from being a ballet dancer myself. All ballet dancers are unique, So please do not judge Ivan Vasiliev. He is one of the best dancers in the world, along with Natalia.
