It's always pleasant to hear some good news from my native Sweden! Lars Schepler and his dog testing ground at the Björkvik Estate has a very good reputation. Keep up the excellent work!
UK shoot Warehouse. Really enjoy the show. Some of the perspectives and the etiquette for hunting is a bit different than here in the US. As always, enjoyable and informative. Thanks guys.
Nine to twelve months old? The three piglets at 7:15 are not older than 5 months, they still carry their stripes! You can say that in the first few months they grow about 3kg per month. Those boar are about 10-12kg gutted.
Another nice one Charlie,..but did I miss something, or did you not, have the same 'hunting You Tube on last weeks show ? Of course it could be deja vu!
+Reg Sparkes Sorry Reg - it's an editing error. We hung the editor for a day by his underpants before he admitted it. He won't make the same mistake again. I will upload it separately. / Charlie
It's not as 'serious' as the punishment you dealt the 'poor editor'....Ohoooo that just smarts, I'll bet. I'll just watch the UA-cam videos you have here, untillnext week. Regards!
Wouldn't boar hunting in the Uk be a good argument for the putting of semi autos in centre fire calibers back on section 1 since you need quick follow up shots.
I shoot a lot of boar including driven, stalked and from a high seat. There is no NEED for a semi auto in any hunting application, especially in driven hunts for boar. If anything they are generally frowned upon especially here in Switzerland. However, semi autos should be allowed for both sporting and hunting purposes........
uhmm... chaps, hate to inform you but there was a mistake made (hilarious at that) in the description under hunting youtube videos. You see the last video stated (AlteTVSpots ) is in fact a German potato crisps commercial from 1997. I don't know if that was intentional, but I had a good laugh because of it.
+BloodRaven Yes indeed - but watch it closely and you will see it stars a young David Wright, our newsreader, back in the days when he had a proper job. / Charlie
i love shooting clays and hunting would love to go on a game shoot but why oh why do we need to dress like a twat to do it thats the thing that puts me off
Really? This is the absolute worst in hunting. I can't believe you call this sport. I want to start hunting myself but the fact that there are people like you who made this video out there make me sick. A feeder that tricks the animals into false comfort, a camoed hut, all to make it so much easier for the hunter and so much more unfair for the boar. And the worst part is the boar is even rarely eaten. So you know what, baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah. I never dislike videos that people put effort into but I gotta dislike this one. I don't understand that last part. I love wild boar meat and I know that certain male hogs over an age can produce a biter aftertaste. But that means 3/4 boars you kill should be eaten and the male boar should be turned into animal food or something. Such a waste. People spend money and time creating domestic pig farms but then refuse to see the potential in wild boar that supposedly causes "problems". Man if our forefathers were this lucky to have so many wild boar just running about, free food everyone.... Oh yeah and the funniest thing. Boar meat in the shop is 2x as expensive as normal pig meat so that's an other way to discourage consumption and persist in the narrative. A viscious circle if I ever heard one. Same with the rabbits in cities. But I guess the problem there is you can't really carry a pistol with you and shoot in an urban location. But for example I lived in a place with a "rabbit infestation". I loved to see the little buggers everywhere and if the neighbors really wanted to do something about it traps could've been set up and then we'd have neighborhood stews or something.
