This was a particularly competitive match. Smart booker!! They really complement each other’s abilities. Comments here indicate these athletes appear on Lucha Underground, which I really haven’t watched, but, I’m going to have to check it out, as these guys rocked.
Jeff Cobb reminds me of a cross between the late Cheif Wahoo McDaniel & the late Dr. Death Steve Williams. Willie Mack reminds me of the late Junk Yard Dog.
These 2 had a pretty killer match on Lucha Underground last week. Matanza is a bad character for Jeff Cobb, he's required by story to move like a lumbering zombie rather than using Cobb's incredible athleticism, but he can still bust out those incredible suplexes and slams. Still, they should let Matanza dropkick- they already let him do the Standing Shooting Star Press, and Jeff Cobb dropkicks like an avalanche. Between these two and Brian Cage, Lucha Underground has some of the best heavyweights in the business, even if they're not particularly tall (which unfortunately keeps them out of WWE). I seriously wish that single screechy girl in the audience would shut the fuck up, though. I get she's a big fan of Willie Mack, but it's like having a bamboo skewer slowly inserted into each ear to meet in the centre of your brain.

You have to be impressed with how Cobb throws, tosses, and suplexes these big guys around like they barely weigh anything.
