my trainer says I should put my fingers over the discus kinda like Eddie in this vid because i have got a poor finish because of a new weight. What’s your vision?
@@abelstoker5932 We can understand that, but we find that all of the best discus throwers throw with the grip we show, so you should to try to work towards that 👍
Im thinking about practising the spin move in discus so i can get a farther distance. Im currently the best discus and shot puter in my school and im only a sophomore in high school i dont know if i should or not
With what Eddie's done to his body, he will NEVER be able to throw the discus effectively. Don't even bother. He might be able to do WWE or sumo wrestling. Track and field and American football are out. Maybe if he loses 140 lbs (10 stone) he could throw the discus.
I want to see him do the Pole Vault next
😂😂😂
He'll just throw me over the pole vault pole. LoL
Haha I think it would snap 🤣
🤣
He would need an old school scaffold bar
Eddie obviously wasn't hydrated properly 😅
😂😂😂
Fair play to Eddie for giving it ago and highlighting our sport...
Eddie Hall has done many things like this and in everything he seems to not do much better than the average person in terms of actually doing things necessary for the sport. Sure, he generates lots of power, but that's only half of it.
TRUTH
React to hammer throwing of Eddie Hall
That one may have to wait, unfortunately, but thank you for the suggestion 💪
The Hamer one was the least technically accurate
Please try to explain the techniques, you say the world record holder changed to “full reverse” but don’t explain what that is. I’ve noticed you do the same in the shot and hammer vids I’ve watched and assume the viewer knows what your talking about.
A Full Reverse is just a thrower turning threw and switching feet as they release. Non reverse are not switching feet, unless well after the discus flies out like Schult does later in the video.
I once participated in a discuss throw for the first time representing my school n I saw a Boy hit the umpire with the discuss accidentally , thankfull he was conscious and first Aid was quick.....that guy was so shocked that he quit the competition n I got 2nd position.😀😔
And Eddie Hall is a clean athlete? :D
To be honest. Not when competing professionally.
Not at all. Yes, they get tested but it’s a joke of a system.
I think its a Mandella effect. I remember that Jurgen schult was always a non reverser. He never used to reverse.
First thing! They have a cage for a reason. A discus in the hands of an amateur can be lethal but to throw it with attempted spins is just stupid!
He had some potential as a hammer thrower. His one arm throw was impressive.
Sir , I am a shot put thrower but during the release my elbows drops and there is no flick with the fingers on shot ... What should I do to correct it ??
Try to think about taking a sideways basketball shot and rest shot on your fingers.
Sir how to get this sideway basketball feeling permanent because when I throw with full power automatically my elbows drops but if I throw with 50- 60% by keeping in my about my elbow then my elbow doesn't drop
I'm excited to see Eddie box
us too
There are the Harting brothers in Germany. Discus experts
Of course the discus of Hercules and Siegfried's swords are mighty.
There was once a heavy discus on the olympics. Maybe Eddie will have advantage there. There was also a heavy saber. This was to make it more authentic in terms if ancient use.
Discus does take some strength but pure strength isnt gonna geta good throw
Hlo sir.. what should be the minimum height and weight for a good shotputter and discuss thrower
I think that pat and Eddie should do a triathlon next time and see if they can beat some very important times
hi TU, Eddie's 40m + throw would be a respectable distance for a decathlete wouldn't it? And they must have a fair bit of training!
Yes it would be. Most decathletes at a high leve throw between 45 to 52 meters.
I doubt Eddies 40+ throw was even 30. Looked far from 40m and he measured way past landing point.
@@anton6795 yeah we think so too lol
Sir, how did take practice, Daily weekly once rest, how
It would be fun to watch Eddie throw the javelin.
Never done discus, don't follow strongman or eddie, not sure what I am doing here but very entertained.
We're happy to have you 💪
very interesting video! thanks for the Eddie's team's thorws, thanks for your comments.
from the video, we can know how hard to be professional
Thank you! Always appreciated 👍
he did drop some serious bombs in ukraine
My best so far is 52m
Nice! That's a really solid mark 💪
9:59 was some bad timing
9:55 He dropped what in Ukraine
just wondering, have you ever helped someone in the Paralympics get better at throwing (discus, javelin, or shot put)?
Crazy how Eddie lifted so much weight in the beginning clip that he started bleeding
I don't have to know here Hall discuss throw tecnq😄
Perhaps 30 metres, maximum
Probably
No!!!?
????
He's also done Hammer throwing and javelin.
We may address them in later videos. Thank you for the suggestion 💪
Great, I enjoyed both of your other Eddie videos.
@@ThrowsUniversity dude his hammer throw is insane ypu need to react to ut
dont forget the drug test.......
In the hammer throw video he claimed to throw 57 mts with one hand, which all the throwing athletes know is just a claim for the views. How can a persons rotator cuff be stronger than practicing athletes lower back 😏
Exactly. Definitely not 60 meters lol
What is the point of this video? Eddie's video is part of his being "stupid" videos. He even goes golfing in one of them.
Compared to Eddie Hall you consider a betta or a weak individual.
I'm a coach analyzing technique 😐
Lmao imagine
I think Eddie is better at throwing a tantrum ! lol
😂😂
Eddie mate stick to your huge deadlifts and squats and forget about throwing because it is a completely different game and you have no idea of what you are doing..😕
He's just having fun, take it easy there, sport
I remember back when I was 11 throwing 19m when all the other kids threw just a few meters. Always wanted to pursue discus, but never found out how to pursue in Cheshire, U.K. Seems not very popular over here x
