If you're referring to the Series S built in feature to upscale to 4K I believe I had the option turned on but at the time the capture card I had could only record up to 1080p 60fps; My most recent video does have gameplay at 4K ua-cam.com/video/iXgQjqHgh4I/v-deo.html
@@hatsusekun if you already have some progress on base PSO2 or just want to experience the base game it might be worth it also you do get a decent amount of SG from it; I personally don’t play base it just wasn’t an enjoyable experience for me on the console opposed to NGS.
Sure the upcoming one with NVIDIA DLSS and AMD FSR 1.0 right? I'm curious if the Series X/S will actually take advantage of the FSR feature as it technically can utilize it due to it having a AMD chip. I'll have something up if not the same day, the day after.
@@hyperchimericdialect that would be pretty cool to watch man hopefully I can get my hands on The series X instead of the s now oh this is off-topic but I just found out dying light two is running 30 FPS no performance mode unfortunately while the series X has a 60 and 120 FPS mode I mainly just want those two games in halo infinity looks like I gotta make do for a little bit on my brothers one S I really wish more games would be like PSO2 new Genesis tho we have so much graphical/fps settings
@@noticemeonii-chan5347 Yeah I think two games don't do 60 fps on the S which is Dying Light 2 and Guardians of The Galaxy as for the Series X it's definitely guaranteed the 60fps mostly but 4K not so much if the game isn't optimized this is pretty much the end result; as for Dying Light 2 60fps is currently locked to 1080p mode and 120fps mode is with VRR which requires a HDMI 2.1 TV or monitor that supports it and is also 1080p.
Yes the game has cross play and cross save you will need to link your account so your information can be retrieved from the server. So login via the PS4 and get the account information so that when you start on the Xbox you can fill out the necessary details to retrieve your account; hope that helps!
That's a tricky question but I'll try my best to answer; the game does have the Xbox One X code which supports 4K but I believe the Series S is using the Xbox One Code which is 1080p? There isn't a native Series version yet so it's running in backwards compatibility but with more power due to the extra resources of the Series S|X.
Glad you like it! Despite the weaker GPU the CPU is still that of the Series X, Microsoft took a page out of Sony's book referencing the PS4 Pro on the GPU side for performance and pricing. In a lot of test in which games used the One X 4k and PS4 Pro the One X gave a more true direct 4k resolution but the PS4 Pro checkerboard style upscaling gave similar results and practically the same initial 1080p 60fps performance. This is the approach the Series S takes which also has similar GPU specs found in the PS4 Pro but is newer and faster.
Lol dude don’t get me started my Xbox one X broke on me a few months ago so I have to play on my brothers one S and I noticed there was a big difference I can’t wait to get my hands on a series s though I would love to get a series X saddle I could never get my hands on one of them I see a bunch of series s Available just gotta wait to get my chance to go to the store and get one when I’m off from work
@@noticemeonii-chan5347 I think you'll enjoy it honestly it's a good excuse to upgrade to a Series X or a revamped Series model later down the line too; right now I can tell people are skeptical about this generation with some devs not hitting the 4K targets despite having a pretty decent CPU and GPU in the Series X and PS5 but hopefully as time goes on things will get better.

Xbox Series S ultra settings - about 30 fps in heavy fights.
Mi i5 10th gen integrated graphics, 16 gb RAM laptop couldn't manage lowest settings, this is amazing!
Nice job mate. Gives a great insight of buying me the series s for it.
Dynamic resolution ON?

hello everything is fine? It's been a while since I last played PSO2, is there still a way to play the base version?
Yes the base version is still playable; when logging into New Genesis if you have base installed you have an option to play base PSO2 instead.
@@hyperchimericdialect Do you think it's worth playing the base version? I'm not up to date with the news or the community, so I can't say
