    I feel very sorry for the people commenting who have nothing better to do than bash a mans relationship with Jesus.
    If you don't like what you're hearing change the station. Nobody's forcing you to listen.
    As a proud Christian and Broncos fan, I'm thankful we have a quarterback who stands up for what he believes in.
    God bless you all and Merry Christmas.

    Typical Tebow Fan: Tebow won more playoff games than Aaron Rodgers last year. Therefore, Tebow is better than him.

    The read option has been around in the nfl since mid 1900s. And in fact, some analysts are agreeing the option isn't bad if you've got the right weapons and a good qb. All offenses are figured out at one point, however, you can tweak em to keep scoring. The option is one that is open to this tweaking the most, it just depends on your offense. I'd say the jets is an upgrade for tebow, they're team overall is better than denver, that's probably why he went there.

  • @impervius8690
    @impervius8690 12 років тому

    In the first game he had 194, that's not bad, and over 100 rushing yards. That's respectable considering he had nearly 300 net yards. But the defense and special teams let him down terribly. Same thing in the 2nd game. The O line also messed up early allowing the pats defense to tear through and put pressure pretty much every play.

    Tim Tebow is a force of competitive nature, that's Skip's way of avoiding calling him a terrible quarterback.

    there are qb's that crumble in the 4th quarter like kyle orton and someone that is excellent under pressure like tim tebow. no qb would have a 60% completion being in 3 different systems in 3 years. not anyone could have done what tebow did with the broncos. he is special.

  • @impervius8690
    @impervius8690 12 років тому

    wasn't his like first or 2nd nfl start against the texans 300 yards passing? And he threw over 194 against the bears this year, and 194 against the pats and 100+ rushing yards their first encounter as well. And 316 on the steelers? The defense was ass against the patriots, they let their offense down. Denver also had the highest dropped catchable pass ratio. If tebow had some weapons and stable defense, and if he gets better, he could be a threat.

    The option has been used by the jets, by the patriots, by michael vick, by the panthers, it's not a bad offense really.

  • @impervius8690
    @impervius8690 12 років тому

    Nope, not blaming it on the receivers. I'm putting however DT at fault on that game. Cause the score was 0-0, the defense had done their job in the 2nd quarter. Tebow threw a perfect pass DT is wide open and he couldn't catch it, the ball went straight to his hands and he was wide open. Had DT caught that maybe the bears would be playing catch up in the 4th quarter, not the broncos. If you read my other comments, not making excuses for tebow's poor gameplay, but we can't write him off yet.

    Jay Crawford comes off like a weasel. He kept trying to make something out of nothing. Like he was frustrated that Tebow didn't give him anything to make a controversy, so he had to do it himself. First he said "what stood out to him was that Tebow doesn't care about what John Elway says" What Tebow said is he doesn't pay attention TO WHAT DOES NOT EFFECT HIM PERSONALLY. If Elway gave some advice thats one thing. But how does Elways comment effect Tebow at all this season....

  • @impervius8690
    @impervius8690 12 років тому

    Go look up the stats yourself, the number was 1.5 which was given to tebow. 2 is considered good for a elite qb. So no i never said tebow IS the best, I said one of the best qb's at decision making when he needed to. Sanchez had more weapons than tebow in offense, and a more stable defense as well. I'm not putting excuses for tebow's poor gameplay. However, I see all of tebow's flaws, and the broncos flaws. I see tebow's strengths, and the broncos strengths.

  • @impervius8690
    @impervius8690 12 років тому

    It's not bullshit, I have accepted long ago tebow's throwing wasn't good, however, the offense and defense also sucked ass lol. I'm not turning a blind eye to either, tebow couldn't hit targets on point, often at least, he shined at moments gave us glimpses of what he's capable. Same with the defense. Was ass often, but had moments where it looked 10+ not 20th. The offense same thing, no wr or te with real talent, but they had their moments. Overall, mediocre team.

  • @impervius8690
    @impervius8690 12 років тому

    And the broncos d was ranked 20th. Patriots still made it to the superbowl, as bad as their defense was, they looked good on occasions. Enough occasions to drive to the superbowl, with their talented offense carrying them. You can't go all by stats. After all, the number 1 defense lost to the guy with the lowest comp rating. And the so called worst defense went to the superbowl.

  • @impervius8690
    @impervius8690 12 років тому

    uhm ok lol, I clearly said nobody's perfect, never that he is?

  • @impervius8690
    @impervius8690 12 років тому

    No, on the second game the o line was trucked by the patriots defense often. Pressure was there on various occasions. Now the broncos were mediocre, but that kind of pressure on a inexperienced qb who still has work to do, + mediocre team, your not coming out pretty from that.

  • @impervius8690
    @impervius8690 12 років тому

    He had to extend but it went through his hand. Yea he threw an int when attempting to throw it out of bounds. Fumble, nobody's perfect, especially not with the mediocre o line denver had.

  • @impervius8690
    @impervius8690 12 років тому

    You were the first to say don't look at stats as players change. I didn't see newton in the playoffs though. How bout elway who was ass his first starting season? How bout peyton his first? How bout eli? Eli even had a game where his passer rating was 0. How bout steve young? Newton had better stats than 2 hof qb's in their first seasons, doesn't mean elway and young didn't go on to be great qb's. Compared to them, tebow didn't do horribly worse, in fact, he did kinda good.

  • @impervius8690
    @impervius8690 12 років тому

    Uhm, it's no news to anyone that tebow isn't a great practice player. Even Skip said so before on espn. Now how the hell tebow makes plays happen on the field, when they don't on practice is beyond me, but it happens, fox acknowledged this. That was tebow's first time running that play too, it's been only some months after the season. When i say time i mean 2 years or so with practice at qb and gameplay at it. Then we can write him off depending on his gameplay.

  • @impervius8690
    @impervius8690 12 років тому

    Didn't land at the top of his fingers, cause the ball went straight through his hands. As in in between both his hands. Which just meant he screwed up. Yea dt isn't a great WR, not yet at least, he can be though. As I said, tebow didn't have any weapons at all really. No excuses for his poor gameplay, but given some time to learn and get better, some weapons on offense and a stable defense, he might maybe be a threat one day.

  • @impervius8690
    @impervius8690 12 років тому

    The broncos were mediocre in offense, up and down on defense, and had an inexperienced qb who still has hella work to do. Yet tebow and the broncos went far against all odds. Elway was horrible at reading defenses his first season as a starting qb, and he ran alot too, and elway's comp rating was 47%. I'm not saying tebow is amazing and we should praise him, I'm saying It's too early to write tebow off. Elway was ass and got better at his game, so tebow could do the same.

  • @impervius8690
    @impervius8690 12 років тому

    If you hadn't nonticed prater would have needed only 1 clutch kick if the receivers had done their job in the bears game. DT dropped 5 catchable passes including one perfectly thrown pass in the 2nd quarter on 3rd down when the score was 0-0 where he was wide open and only about 20 yards from a touchdown, and he fucked up. In the patas game, the defense let the offense down, same in the bills game.

  • @JustinBarnes15
    @JustinBarnes15 12 років тому

    its kinda funny that he had the same answer for every question he wasnt going to answer like how much better can you get or something that makes you think your the long term qb. Tebow is making a difference off the field and thats what is really important.......BTW back off people who hate him for his faith in God. Just because he isnt cussing and doing drugs and sleeping with every pretty girl there is doesnt mean you have to hate him. its convicting i know but hey truth hurts.......

    @jmarroking The same way black muslims think about Tim? Honestly, I don't think it's a fair assumption to think all his fans are white male christian. Trying to bait someone into a petty comparison show's how shallow your perspective is regardless of your belief. How about this? People like that he's a good guy who stands for his beliefs everything else is only an issue to those who make it so.

    The broncos defense let the offense down as they sucked against the patriots. The special teams also, that dude who tried to return the ball on a dead punt set the patriots up like 15 yards from the broncos. And the second game fox did not prepare, but we saw bellichick prepared very well for the broncos offense and defense.

  • @impervius8690
    @impervius8690 12 років тому

    I remember orton outplayed tebow in practice. Yet orton went 1-4 8td's 7 ints in his games in the last season. Tebow however well we all saw that him and the broncos got some wins and actually went far even though the team as a whole was maybe decent at best. I'd say mediocre.

  • @impervius8690
    @impervius8690 12 років тому

    Tebow had setbacks coming into the 2011 season, and really no weapons in receivers or tight end. DT had come from alotta injuries, so he wasn't playing his greatest and it showed as denver had the highest dropped catchable pass ratio. Tebow was also one of the best decision makers amongst qb's that season. He's still inexperienced, give him some weapons and a stable defense, some time to learn and get better,he might surprise us. Elway was ass his first season too, so we can't write tim off yet.

    I could see tebow having more of a chance against the bills and pats this season if he was the qb when playing them. I doubt he'll win, but with a defense and offense that is actually decent, not mediocre, and his throwing may have improved a little, he might look better out there than last time. Tebow didn't do bad compared to 2 hof qb's who I mentioned elway and young, comparing their first season starts, tebow went further, he did kinda good. So he could get better and surprise us.

  • @impervius8690
    @impervius8690 12 років тому

    He had set backs and didn't have an offseason really coming into this season. Tebow got starter type attention with the jets so far. He certainly could get better. I see newton and tebow(if he gets better at passing) changing the nfl offense a bit from qb's being only pass happy afraid to take hits to accepting the option more and maybe even running a little like the nfl once was.
