Besides everything that was already said, add to it that Victor is also a clutch player and he has the mamba mentality, he´s a winner, a competitor, he plays with his heart, and if you add these qualities to a guy who is naturally talented as he is, he is on the way to be one of the best players to ever play the game, GOAT.

And now Wemby has a potential All Defensive team player at the point of attack in Castle. Imagine Castle and Vassel hounding you at the top then you see Sochan and then if you are lucky to get through that, Victor is there to send your shot to space. The Spurs has gone back to their championship DNA and that is defense.

@@yajroque Players that were hyped up as rookie prospects that would save the league. Yes, Jordan and Kobe both were on that same level or better, but they didn’t have that specific hype entering the league. That’s all that section was speaking to, not their overall place as players all-time.

i like victor and he does seem destine to be one of the 3 best but being sooo much taller than everyone seems like a cheat code that makes it harder for me to root for him
For me, it’s how he’s able to do things that nobody his size should, that makes it fun to watch him despite his height advantage!
Being tall don’t mean much in basketball. A lot of 7 foot busts or 7 footers that just didn’t live up to potential - Anthony Bennett, Wiseman, Thabeet, Bol Bol, Ayton - I can go on Dozens of names. It’s the work ethic and the want to be great that makes Wembenyama amazing, coupled with unreal athleticism, IQ, ball handling and ability to shoot from anywhere on the floor .
