- In this video, Mark first shows you what a finished piece of sidewall channel should look like and how it fits along the side of the chimney and over the apron flashing. Mark then walks through the process of making the proper marks and measurements to begin forming the finished piece.

great video!
Can you show us how to make one of those sidewalk channels?
This is a standard part we make on a pressbrake for the Kasselwood system. We can send you a drawing of it if you'd like?
@@KasselandIrons ya sure thanks
@@Brandon-no3vc please send an email to ryan@isaiahindustries.com and he will make sure you get the drawings.
Nice video. Do you use that side wall flashing for asphalt shingles also?
Thanks @Easternfly! Our video is strictly for installation procedures used with our metal shingles. The approach could perhaps be used with asphalt shingles but the shingle manufacturer should be consulted. This would not be normal protocol for most asphalt shingle applications.
Ice & Water, Step Flashing and I'd recommend cutting a reglet for a long 1 piece of coil used as a counter flashing for comp shingles. Depending on the size of the shingle, you may need to "make" step shingles from valley metal. GoodGuysRoofingCo.com
