Hey Chuck! Welcome back! I saw the Fogerty vid, to bad that happened. Talking about Back to Black, did I ever tell you that Cliff Williams was a friend of mine? I did many charities with him about 12-13 year ago (or more). The X-mas before last, he sent me a Back to Black CD as a joke because he knows I despise that kind of music! long story short, I moved and he bought a different house (same city) so I haven't seen him in a while. Did I ever send you those pictures?
Anyway, hope you're doing well and I hope that surprise vid is about an Italian piano that starts with an F!!
    Talk soon!!

Cliff had some serious health issues (not sure what those were though) that made it hard for him to finish that final tour with AC/DC. I hope he's doing better these days.
No, the surprise vids were some awesome one-on-one with Chris Martirano (one was on the new Nord Stage 4, the other was this one with the new Kurzweil SP7).

@@PianoManChuck I love the vid with the Dexibell. Great salesman also. If I were younger I'd opt for that one most likely.
Cliff was OK last I saw him. Basically one guy went deaf, another died, and he really had enough. The years I did those charities with him, they were still touring and it was a lot. I think his wife had enough ( Probably the real reason)! Our doctor will keep him alive for another 50 years!! Matlocke was also a customer of ours. That place has since been sold and I left Ft Myers around 2013 or so. The good old days!! Thanks for the great vids and yes, for me they are valuable. It's a lot of work to do these vids, learn all the features of the keyboard, the set-up and so on. I really appreciate it and look forward to more reviews (for my next life as a pianist)!!

@@cjc4765 That Dexibell 'salesman' is the marketing director of Dexibell/Proel for North America (Antonio Ferranti)... and one of the nicest people you'd meet! And yes, the lead singer for AC/DC (Brian Johnson) lost a good chunk of his hearing. I had tinnitus for 3 days after attending one of their concerts!

@@PianoManChuck you’re lucky it wasn’t a forever thing. That can cause people to go crazy. They’re way to loud. I once said to Cliff I don’t understand a word you guys are saying and he said “neither do I”. He is the most humble person I ever met. You’d never know he was actually in that group!
The saleman there was terrific I must say. He actually knew what he was talking about. Great personality as well . How did they get around using the name Die Hard I wonder. Nice well made products 👍

Look's nice, these SP7's are garnering alot of appeal but is that line between true player & programmer widening between'em¿or is it as thin & fine as it's ever been¿That line might be a convection of both these days or could it of vanished altogether¿hence are UI's becomin' arbitrary¿

@@cjc4765 not really I’ve followed Kurzweil since the beginning when they built the product for Stevie in the 1980s. It was a terrible product with lots of repair issues and was very hard to operate compared to Yamaha, Roland, and even Lowrey and Kimball! I’m really old!

@@honesty0 Lol. I don't think there's anyone older than me! I hope you are! I just remember that Stevie had something to do with Kurtz. I did look it up and he was involved with Ray Kurtzweil in inventing it or refining it. I'm seeing that it was eventually sold. BUT, I bet Stevie must have been given plenty of stock shares that earned him some nice dividends. I never even seen one in person! Not even on 48th in Manhattan where you see almost everything! 👍

Or a little too ahead of time. In the design department we're back in mid 90s. Silver, brushed aluminium casing/front were features of the late 90s/and early 2000s. It was "the 21st Century look". So a couple of years in the future and if we survive to that date we will again enjoy this style.
