you're a lifesaver! We had a short class last week and she had to explain how to make a Bohr diagram in 20 minutes, and today we have a quick quiz about it!
Confused, I thought that the maximum electrons per shell was 1st-2, 2nd-8, 3rd-18, 4th-32 etc. However, you say 1st-2, 2nd-8 and each ring after that can hold 8.
You can go with those maximums, but in my opinion it makes no sense to draw a Bohr Diagram beyond the 3rd ring (8 electrons max in the 3rd). After that, you really need to use quantum mechanics (electron configurations and orbital diagrams)
Love how my teacher has the audacity to leave for a week at the start of a new unite, get back and expect us to know everything. Then explains in the most shitty outrageous way of what this is to me who was gone also. I can’t with him he’s nice, but I swear he doesn’t even care. He’s a teacher there for the money not for the students he’s mid. Anyways thanks for making this video :)
@@TheScienceClassroom I'll let you know how it goes Hypothetically if I have to make a bohr diagram of arsenic How would that go My teacher told my the 1st 2 shells hold 2 and 8 electrons So that's 10 electrons BUT arsenic is number 33 so it should have 33 electrons to be balanced with protons Would the valence shell have 23 electrons? Or just the amount of the group number
Actually, Bohr diagrams don't really work for elements beyond the third period. So a Bohr diagram for As would really make sense. I only ask my students to draw Bohr diagrams for elements 1-18
W bro explained better than my teacher
Glad this helped you!
frfr
At least your teacher explained it😂

teacher yapped so hard on some car situation but u explained it so simply u saved my grade bro
I'm glad I could help!🤗
dude taught it better in two minutes then my teacher did in an hour
🫡
Bro explained my whole chemistry unit in 2 minutes WWWWWWWW🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉❤

Thank u u made me understand better then my teacher whole one hour lesson
I'm glad this video helped you! 🤗
Thanks you! This is on my test today 😂
💯
Thank you so much for this, my teacher dosent know how to teach this in 2 weeks but you managed to do it in two minutes. Saved my grade fr!
😁
Thank you so much for this! You explained this way better than my teacher did!
Glad it helped! ☺️
Thank you sooooo much! I’ve been so confused
😃
Wow, I just learned this in 2 minutes, and my teacher was teaching it in 45 minutes
I love how you respond to every comment😊
I try my best!
This video was actually really helpful! Thanks!
I'm glad it helped! 🤗
Thanksss I’m in Biology and my teacher just kinda expected us to know this but I didn’t 🫠 I UNDERSTAND NOW!!
😃
you are AMAZING😭 you literally saved me
I’m glad I could help!😀
LETS GO THANKS FOR HELPING MAN
You’re welcome!☺️
Thank you bro. You saved me 🙏
You're welcome!🤗
you are the goat thank you 😭
😃you’re welcome!
Thank you so much ,u helped me a lot I'm gonna ace my physical science exam
YOU ARE AN ICON
🤗
I love you so much thank you oml
i love you too!!
Thank you so much!
You’re welcome! 😊
lifesaverrrrrr!!!!
🤗
Wow! You just explain it very well😮❤
I'm glad this video helped! 🤗
Thank u🙏 I have a test on Tuesday hopefully this helps
I hope your test went well!😊

Damn, this is really going to help with my exam. Thanks a mil
Good luck on your exam!
@@TheScienceClassroom Thanks I think I passed!
Thank you :)
You're welcome! 🤗
Bro helped me memorize this right before an exam W
Good luck!
Thanks! Bohr Models are on my chem test!!!
How'd the test go?
@@TheScienceClassroom Think I got only 1 wrong but you never know but theese videos helped a lot!

THANK YOU
wtf can every teacher just explain it like this bro
😃
Bro just saved my rapport
😀
Do the amounts of protons and neutrons matter when drawing the bohr models??
Not really, I always recommend writing how many protons and neutrons are in the nucleus but some teachers don't require it
Is it important to draw rings
I think it's important. It'd be hard to keep track of all the electrons without first drawing the rings
A VIDEO I CAN UNDERSTAND
🤗
How should I know that how many rings I need to draw?
Only add rings as you need them. After you fill a ring with electrons, add another until you've drawn all the electrons
FINALLY
💯☑️
my brain hurts but helped♥ no ddy
Bro I have like 20 pages of notes the he just explained in 2min😂
😎
chem exam tmrw ;)
Good luck!! 💯

Nice work! 💯
I need you to replace my teacher please
I guess you could transfer to the school I teach at!😆
