It's High School Week! (What It's Like Being a Camp Counselor)

As I've been saying over and over again, these vlogs are old and I'm already home now! I've been home for 3(?) weeks and tested negative for the virus, which is a blessing! The reason camp ended early was because the risk was becoming too much since cases in the area were beginning to spike. The directors thought it would be wise to stop while we were ahead, and as sad as I am that there's no more camp this summer, I'm really really really REALLY grateful for the time that we did have! Plus, the fact that we got to have high school week out of the programs was such a blessing in itself. I think lives were changed and hearts were softened to the Holy Spirit! I got to see some of my old campers from past summers (I can't believe they're all in High S school now.. wow) and now I have new ones to keep in touch with; it's the best! Co'ing with Molly was such a blast and we got along so well. She makes me laugh super hard. Each of my girls were so sweet and it was an honor to have them in my cabin. To answer your questions about precautions and all the technical stuff you might be wondering: cabins were family units and so you didn't have to social distance within. All the campers were split in half for meals so we had two separate buildings that people were eating in to limit gatherings. We skipped benches when we sat in the rec shed together and you were encouraged to stay 6 feet way from people that weren't in your cabin. Obviously, since this was High School Week, sometimes the rules were hard to enforce and campers didn't want to comply, but overall, camp did what it could to keep things running smoothly and safely. With all that being said, hopefully you can watch this with a less critical eye and maybe forget the real world for a bit, that's what I do haha. I know a lot of you said that your camps were cancelled and you were using my vlogs as a 'coping mechanism' and that makes me happy (but sad, of course) so hopefully you enjoy this last one for the year!

is this the most responsible thing in the world? no. but it's not as if she personally made the choice to run camp & state regulations are very different according to which region of the country you're in. unfortunately my camp was cancelled and i am quarantining 98% of the time but if my camp made the decision to open im sure i would've been at mine too! super cute vlog :)

Hi Micah first I wanted to say you are awesome and give me so much inspiration to keep loving dolls and still loving things that most of my friends have grown out of. Second I wanted to get your permission for this I have started my own series with some of my dolls like the remainders so it's like a show with some of the same plots as the remainders and a series of unfortunate events. I haven't taped it or anything I just wanted to get you permission first. Oh by the way I haven't copied you or anything in any sort of way. But I did want to say thank you.
