Guys don’t think that Valve forgot about about Adrian they were going to do a Opposing Force 2 DLC after episode three dlc but since episode three never came out the same happened about Opposing Force 2

I like seeing Shephard Fighting with the resistance, but I don’t know, is it cannon? Did he even survive Black Mesa? Can someone tell me?
I believe that Valve didn't say if it was really cannon or not. So, only time will tell
