@@silverstar8868 well if you look back they always touched on trending topics of their day, the only difference between the old and new stuff is that the new stuff makes statements where the old stuff was more observant comedy. So yea, the show continues because they are up to date. They even reinvent Homer and Marge’s youth as being a 70s high school sweethearts, to 80s, 90s, and they have probably made one where Bart and Lisa were toddlers in the early 2000s. They keep reinventing their past.
One thing with Homer as unbothered as he is sometimes as a man when it comes to his wife & children he knows when to step up & be a man unlike Peter from family guy poor Lois has to play both parts.
