How can you not love this man?!?! My parents saw him in concert at Madison Square Garden and he exceeded most people’s expectations since he was not the headliner ❤️💛💚
The commodores I think. Yeah it was a disgrace. They should have been openers for Bob but because Bob wanted to break through in the African American community he agreed to open for the commodores. That was a large part of the American tour he did. Most of his concerts were white people. So Bob wanted to reach his people. Bob was a blessed soul.
@TheTrooperMB Lololololol too massive. I had seen Bob in Miami and Central park, but MSG was quivering. The Barretts still are my favorite rhythm section,up there with AL Jackson and Duck Dunn.
Who is the cutie besides Bob that's smiling all the time. I saw him in one of his videos on the beach playing football. Nice smile and looks cool like Bob.
He really was an exceptional musical talent. The music he created along with some other great players and singers will last as long as humans continue to listen to music.
Too much stress, and Bob was overworked. Along with the cancer eating his body by 1980, he toured relentlessly from 1973 to 1980 and made about 10 albums or so with the Wailers. That took a great toll on his health and he aged.
Sounds just like he does on the album version. No autotune, no tricks, just talent. Amazing.

You don't tell us who the headliner was?..common

I was there,after Bob.played,a bunch of people left..It was a wicked show,I thought MSG would.collapse from Aston,s bass..
@@warrendoris9669 I always try to imagine how shaky it was at a Bob show with that Barrett combo , Aston's bass mustve created earthquakes !

Of course Bob is a legend but the Barret brothers were the engine of the band, those drums sound monstrous.... 💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼🏝️🏝️🏝️🥃🥃🥃
For 36 years, Bob looked old. Too much weed. Nobody around him saw that? Money running, nobody talking, i guess.
