The no gloves really gives a lovely "let's all have some" atmosphere to this spa. The spirit of giving, getting, passing it on, and getting it again but worse a few days later. Classic.
This is 100% real, I am not a doctor, I am a registered nurse. I believe this plantar warts, and what you see here is them doing debridement AFTER having applied an acid to the affected areas, followed with tape for a couple days. Now the objective is to remove the softened warts , all the way to the core. Podiatrists perform this procedure too. I have had them removed under anesthesia in my own foot , but did this process on my adult son and it worked very well. I certainly wore gloves!
This gives me the fear watching people touch plantar warts with no gloves on. As someone who suffered for years in my childhood from them, they’re very painful and highly contagious. It took numerous rounds of liquid nitrogen to get rid of mine, but my feet weren’t as half as bad as these ones! 😰
I love that he's not wearing gloves, just the power of his teeth to remove that with his mouth and clean it with his tongue. Such dedication. Yes I almost throw up.
I had around 10 seed warts on one of my hands when I was in high school, one was a cluster of 6 so it didn't look that bad. I got rid of them with duct tape. Just a little square big enough to cover each one under a bandaid and after a little over a week I was able to peel them all off. No pain and they never came back, no new ones popped up either.
@@buttercupthetortoise7806 I tried everything on offer in terms of over the counter options, tried duct tape then shaving with pumice stone and finally went to the doctor and attempted to have it frozen off of my foot several times to no effect. My friend told me a surefire way to eliminate any wart and it only requires 3 everyday household objects and a high pain threshold. Step 1). Find a non galvanized nail that has a nail-head aprox the same size as the wart. Step 2). Get a clean pair of rust free sturdy pliers and sterilize either with heat or alcohol. step 3). Use a propane blowtorch, propane range or even an electric stove in a pinch. grasp the nail close to the head with the pliers to avoid unwanted burns and get the nail glowing cherry red. step 4). Firmly press the glowing nail-head down onto the wart and by applying pressure, let it sink aprox 1/8" -1/4" below the surface of the skin in order to eliminate the wart and its deep roots all in one go. If done properly there will be minimal risk of infection at the existing site as well as minimalizing HPV transmission due to cauterization compared to removing the infected flesh with a scalpel, pumice stone or other tool and risking both infection and potential contagion. when completed there will be a round (somewhat charred) crater the shape of the nail-head and the wart will be vaporized/ go up in smoke I had two warts that caused me daily pain while walking around on them for years. After a week-long period of healing for the burns, the warts never came back and I have used this method to remove warts that popped up on hands and feet multiple times since then with no permanent scarring. I have never smelled burning flesh from this but the smell of the wart being disintegrated by red hot metal smells a lot like burning hair and is momentarily unpleasant. P.S. I recommend getting good and drunk beforehand. Doing this to yourself and sinking it deep enough to kill the root, takes a level of commitment and resolve that is helped along and emboldened by a few of your favorite libations. If you have tried everything and want them warts gone for good maybe you will get desperate enough to try my methods I can promise that you will be happy with the end result.. I will also note that I showed my doctor the bottom of my foot during my next visit and described my method of removal and he was all for it. He agreed that most people won't want to undergo that level of self inflicted pain and he was surprised that I was able to do it to myself but anyone who has ever walked around on a wart that is on the edge of a few nerves knows that momentary pain to make it go away for good is a small price to pay compared to just leaving the wart to keep growing and spreading and inflicting agony with every step.
When I was 16 I had a total of about 30 Plantar warts on my feet. It was so painful that when I woke up I had to soak my feet for about 15 minutes before I could even begin to walk around etc.. Great wart removal video 👌. Also great way to contract HPV, by not wearing gloves. Although there could also be a possibility that they been vaccinated against the virus, already carry it, or both. Either way, i would still wear them to prevent infection and contact with the gross stuff.
I spent several months on crutches because of mine. I still remember the god awful pain when they injected the warts at time of removal. I’m curious does the HPV shot decrease the incidence of these type of warts?
I'm disappointed that this person is not wearing gloves because it could cause infection to them and other patients in the future. I'm also worried about the digging because professionals shave the skin/callous for a reason. It's to protect the patient from injury and this person is lacking such care. It does seem to be a dull instrument though, so I suppose it's not as bad. Overall, there's just many things that can be said about this procedure that I dislike, but those are a few.

I had a couple of warts on my hands but I got a job at a car wash and they went away and never came back. I'm assuming it was probably from dunking my hands in dirty oily water all the time
That depends. I had a huge wart for years that took multiple attempts freezing it, scraping it with a razor, and putting cantharidin on it. Just freezing it and using those wart bandaids never worked.
I always got an ungalvanized nailhead cherry red held it with plyers and pressed the glowing metal down past the root of the wart.. only thing i found where they never come back
Have you noticed that the “spas” where they perform services that either bump against medical procedures, or in this case knock them right over, never seem to have anything close to the proper tools? It’s quite common to see spas using syringe needles while popping clients’ pimples or excavating huge pores to remove blackheads. I have never seen one with something like a comedon extractor (I’m pretty sure that’s not what they’re called). And when they get in a spot where there’s a large quantity of contents in the pore, they just keep working at it with that needle. To their credit, the usually get it, but a good tweezers would make it easier, quicker, and with less damage. There are also some people who use toenail clippers to remove blackheads or sebaceous filaments. It seems that if they are going to perform near medical procedures they should have tools that are specifically designed for the task undertaken. It’s not that expensive either.
