@@jt-sd2hcAt the price point Elevate is at 16 and Hyryder at 21. 5 KM difference is not massive unless you drive a lot, then you go for strong hybrid which is more than 20 lakhs.

I am owning a Hyryder G Neodrive since 5 months now. Although I don't drive much but I get mileage of 16KMPL in Gurugaon region and ~20 on highways

One of the biggest problem of Hyryder is their Sunroof cover is very thin, and it is increasing the cabin heat during summer, with that you need increase AC and Subsequently more petrol consumption. Toyota may fix this issue in 2025 version.

Yes i like the Vx mt model of Elevate but for that useless hole on the roof ( i am a Honda City rider for the last 15 years ) ....which makes me think of Seltos and other stuff. Honda 'company if you are listening please get a VXMT model without sunroof i don't mind waiting till Jan 2024

@@achuthc.s653 Let us consider petrol price as RS 100. The Hybrid gives a mileage of 25kmpl on an average. The cost per km comes to 4 Rs. Other non- hybrid cars gives a mileage of 12 kmpl in city. So, the cost per km comes to 8.33 RS. The savings per km comes to 8.3-4= RS. 4.3 per km.
The car is driven for 1.5 lakh kms, then the total savings= 1,50,000 x 4.3= RS. 6,45,000

Ventilated seats, HUD, digital instrument cluster etc are some features that u mentioned that are available with Toyota but not with honda.. I think u should compare the top model of honda with top model of mild hybrid in Toyota ... The ventilated features are available in hybrid top model which is 4 lakh more expensiv than honda top model .. so wen u compare I think u should compare models as per their rates as well

Well HUD is useless digital instrument cluster available in Honda pure practicality and Honda will provide ventilated seats that's the only thing lacking but it's a very good choice with a very powerful top in segment NA PETROL engine and much better comfort and reliability and better off-roading capability like why would you buy grand vitara on the name of hyryder again when this beast is in market

Ha bhai ko sunroof se launch hoke Adithya L1 pe jana hai. Moonroof se Chandrayaan plan kiya hoga. Gadi leni hai bhai khidki darwajja nahi
Most sensible opinion by far
Honda City ehev is the only best ADAS car available in the market with stop and go tech. All other ADAS need atleast 40kmph speed for adaptive cruise control to work. So in city traffic only Honda City ehev ADAS makes sense. Even elevate misses it as far as I understand.

In my humble opinion, benefit of mileage from Hyryder is going to accrue from long highway drives only and what benefit would it have if you lack in cruising power and can't carry enough baggage over long journeys. Soch lo.😑 Add the counter effect of additional weight of heavy batteries and adequate running to charge it, benefit of a hybrid is so so. Hopefully petrol prices will be brought under GST and hence could get cheaper.
I am driving a Hybrid Hyryder. It gives 25 kmpl in city and 22 kmpl on highways.
I will go with honda elevate both are famous in western country and world more is honda and i also owned honda civic 2011 fd type r and now i booked elevate coz toyota is famous for mainly in SUV and pickup but honda is famous for mainly in bikes,cars and SUV overall..!!

I have carefully rode, both vehicles and compared, Here is some concerns to be noticed
Toyota Hyryder
1. Sunroof Panoramic view shadow is very thin and which is increasing cabin temperature.
2. Even though you cover both Sunroof & shadow, little sunlight is coming inside - big drawback
3. Due to increase in temperature - AC increase and which subsequently consume more petrol - Yet to be verified
4. Less Boot space
5. Good comfort to ride - person to Person may change
6. Good road visibility - person to Person may change
7. 360 degree camera
8. 5 ppl can sit comfortably
Honda Elevate
1. Small sunroof with good & hard shadow cover
2. Very good boot space
3. No 360 degree camera
4. less comfort to ride - person to Person may change
5. Comparatively less near visibility - Person to Person may change
6. Ventilated seats can be fixed
7. No 360 degree camera & cannot be done outside as well - if done - warranty will be cancelled.
8. 5 ppl cannot sit properly - because rear middle seat is little elevated (like small step), with that 5th person cannot sit comfortably.
Pliz make a comparison video on yearly after seals service cost and reliability of the cars.

Point of View from a perspective buyer looking for a CVT in a budget:
V CVT - Base model for Automatic It comes with bare minimum features. (There are no alloys in V variant on offer - This is the first time that they have not given Alloys in V variant)
VX CVT - (There is no Cruise Control in this model and Rear Armrest is also missing in VX) Come on Honda this is 2nd top end model.
Tell me one Car in Indian market (apart from Elevate) which is sold for 18 lakhs onroad and does not have Cruise Control?

How are we comparing...Hyrder which is getting compared in terms of mileage is for hybrid version and not for same petrol engine
Those cvt gearbox gonna give rubber band effect. Shoulda gone with dct. And wish they had given us electronic seat adjustment and ventillation.
Hyrider has a lathergic engine and overtaking a car on highway takes two to three gears down and on hills its a donkey.driven elevate too its energetic,rev happy(M.T) in case u want power or drive it smoothly with the cvt.the cvt doesn't have much rubberband effect like the previous gen cvts.Good to drive if driven smoothly.ooh yes 0 to 100 in 12 to 13 seconds depending upon the driver.mileage on city 10 to 11 highways max 15 and thats a similar mileage compared to creta and seltos imt transmission.
Am using it since a month and not even first service completed and city mileage is 9kmpl and highway is 15.8 kmpl

Honda Elevate may have been successful if introduced in 2018. No Hybrid version is very disappointing. Honda is promoting only CITY in India. All other models are passing clouds. For long rides, there are better options in the present market. Elevate can give competition only to Kushaq, not even to Taigun
City hybrid price is 20 lakh plus. Every one is talking about hybrid and no one is buying it

Panoramic sunroof is useless feature. Specially sunroof curtains of hyryder is worst. I took test drive and even in 23 temperature it was feeling very normal because of sunroof heat.

Hi team car delight confused which one to go for .Honda elvate doesn’t offer panoramic sun roof whereas Toyota hyryder offer it in hybrid model
The material used in the Panoramic sunroof is so ridiculous; it's wafer-thin, which lets a lot of sunlight in even when it's closed. So the best thing that you can do is skip panoramic sunroof altogether

ELEVATE look muscular. Design is good. But the car is a failure because : 1) Low MILEAGE, 2) Lower trims are looking CHEAP because of Smaller Tyre and Blank Steering Wheel. I visited HONDA and finally decided not to buy; in fact Honda Salesman was calling for "ex-stock" delivery.. Toyota is doing manipulation by keeping the customers waiting for 10-12 months. With price increase done in every three months, you lose big money on Hyrider.
