Buy the double credits (10 for double)
and thats per kill btw so 1 kill = 1 credits is now 1 kill = 2 credits.
You can also use the double dip to play the same round as before which would be useful on the free slime round for more credits.
You could also buy cows for milk (you literally only need 1, nothing else to tame + buckets) and you can get rid of effects from witches

Expand the pool so you have better chances of treasure, and the lines won’t tangle.

Also by expanding that pool they expand their unlimited water sauce and in the process expand their farm. More crops so more food meaning that they can heal and fight mobs easier. Also by expanding their farm once they get animals they can mass plant wheat and reproduce them and then harvest what they can (milk,eggs,wool) and once they then have enough can kill them to get more food and leather (for basic armour) but leave a few alive so they can repeat the process.

there is one thing though I thought that the map they are playing on has a limited amount of space so don't they need to make good use of it I mean they already have a good way to kill mobs and matt and tanner are fishing so they get more food twice of what 1 person is fishing?

PRO TIPS
-You have to kill the chickens to end the round with the chicken jockeys
-Spruce trees grow on regular dirt
-It's infinity that can't be on a bow with mending not unbreaking
-You can buy something that makes you get more credits per kill
-You can grow crops without water, it's just not as efficient and the farm land can change back if not planted in right away.

I've gotten the chickens from the jockeys before, they count as enemies and the round won't end until they're dead. However, they can make chicks and you can keep the chicks

So I decided to try out playing it on my own, and I got to the chicken zombie level, and you can't keep the chickens. They count as enemies, so you will have to buy chickens with credits. Also, buy the double credits, it really helps. Don't buy the mystery boxes (they only give flowers and dye and I got the gold tier one). You can use slabs to block baby zombies from coming out of the passageways as well. Also, you can make chainmail armor with bones, not sure if you guys would want to use that instead of bone-meal (you have 4 people to feed, but fishing should get you guys a lot of food).
That's all, and I'm loving this series so far!

First off spruce can be planted anywhere second you can have unbreaking and mending but not infinity and mending

put trap doors on the bottom of the cobble blocking the mob spawners so baby zombies and spiders cant get through but you can still open the door and hit them once your prepared.

Made it past 1 episode. Third times the charm. You should get more dirt and seeds for more food and breeding resources. Also, you CAN put mending on an unbreaking tool. I have unbreaking and mending on all my stuff.

Buy a chicken and seeds. On the chicken jockey level, you have to kill the chicken to end the level, but if you breed them before you can keep the ones you breed. Also make a grindstone to repair your items, cheaper than an anvil and serves the same purpose.
Doesn't matter what animal you get you must call it Conner.
Stack the gravel and then but a torch at the bottom. It should get rid of the gravel quicker and you won't waste shovels.
