That was adorable! I was especially struck by the murals and impressive Lego table. You can tell it’s a labor of love, and thank goodness we got to see Buffy 😊❤I’ve wanted to get back to Margaret Atwood and haven’t heard of The Heart Goes Last. Sounds intriguing!
Buffy is adorable! Valiant Women sounds like a good fit for me. May I suggest Agent 355 by Marie Benedict? I listened to this novella on Audible. It fits the theme of un-named women who helped during the war. In this instance, Agent 355, was a real woman who worked during the Revolutionary War to aid our troops in their fight for independence. My new Audible subscription credits drop on the 27th. I plan on downloading Benedict’s book entitled The Only Woman in the Room. It is a true story about film star, Hedy Lamar. While married to an Austrian arms dealer, she overheard the Third Reich’s war plans. Evidently, she escaped the castle the Nazis occupied and managed to bring valuable information to the Allied troops. If this novella is half as good as Agent 355, I will be adding Benedict to my “must read” authors list.
@@KatieReadsKoziesAndMore yes! Buffy is adorable. I have Woman In The Room on my bookshelf, but I haven’t read it yet. I’ll definitely check out Agent 355. In return, can I recommend A Woman Of No Importance? It’s narrative nonfiction about a woman spy with a prosthetic leg during Nazi occupied France. One of my all time favorite nonfic.
@@BandysBooks Thank you. I certainly look forward to reading/listening to A Woman of No Importance. (It depends on whether or not it is available via my library.) It is near the top of my TBR.
I'm looking forward to visiting Buffy's the next time I'm in Las Vegas. I love little Buffy and all the colorful murals. I would like to read Valient Women and The Reformatory. I liked The Heart Will Go Last.
I want to read 'The Reformatory" and she is a very good writer and person, as I have had the pleasure of meeting her at a book conference. You will enjoy her books. 'Valiant Women' sounds good.
It is a cute store. I’m sorry that the camera movement makes you dizzy. If you need it to go slower, there is a way to adjust the video speed in the upper right corner. Click the setting wheel and then adjust playback speed. I hope that helps.
Beautiful bookstore. Buffy looks adorable. Great haul. I love these bookstore videos!

It really is a cool store! I’ve been interested in diving into more of Atwood’s writing too!
Very cool bookstore! The Legos alone is worth a visit! I want to read Our Share of Night & The Reformatory now. ☺️📚
@@amyrose0913 yes! I enjoyed the legos too! I hope you enjoy both of them if you get to them! 💜

Cute bookstore and Buffy is a cute doggy. Liked the murals on walls. You picked good books, Eric Larson never can go wrong.
Yes! It is cute. I agree. Eric Larson is excellent.
@@BandysBooks have you read his newest one out?

The Reformatory is brutal and not an easy read, but it is very well done. I love to hear that about her! Valiant Women does sound good!
I may be taking a trip to Vegas in November... if I do ill have to put this on my agenda 🤗
Definitely! Lmk if you want to grab a coffee or go book shopping while you’re here. I’d love to meet up if you’re up for it/have time
