Thank you! As someone to whom NASB 2 is the first platform fighting game ever and for someone who doesn't know what any of the jargon from Smash means, this video is exactly what I was looking for. Can't wait for part 2!
Thank you! So much more information than the “How to Play” section of the dojo. Super easy to follow. I’m looking forward to utilizing slime dash and burst. I really only have 2 specific uses for slime on Jimmy - enhanced recovery and side special. Other than that it’s great to know I can slime dash for some counter-play vs people who ledge camp with f-charge. I’ll try out tilt away into an attack, the last recovery from ledge option… way too many games where I just get hit from f-charge on normal get up or roll when I see it coming.
how do you get through platforms in this game? is it more like ult or the original game? i havent heard anyone talk abt it but i havent gotten the game yet.
This is really helpful, thanks! Here's some stuff I noticed was missed, perhaps they'll be annotated or in future videos: How to change skins Being sure to select the correct profile before starting the match The fact a second tab exists when doing controls for things like double tap to run and fastfall There's two more taunts available Roll cancelling from ledge Ledge hogging exists I think the biggest omission was at least a starter explination of DI/SDI in this video, especially since some poor players may stay still during infinite multi jabs or go into it. I expect that'll be covered in a future video.
Thank you for your feedback, I’ll definitely try to integrate the 2nd tab in the right stick portion of the next video and ledgeroll cancels in their own dedicated section & Ledge hogging will be in the edge guarding section of part 2 Also I had DI planned for pt 2 bc it’s tough to make a video easily approachable for complete newcomers without it being near 20 minutes. Fortunately many people DI left and right out of instinct.
@@maxwellmegagamer8535 it was just some weird tech exclusive to this game, however it was removed due to being a bit janky. So I’m glad I didn’t include it in pt 1 :)

It’s more like ultimate now since they moved away from analog inputs. Same applies to the ability to walk as well.

roll cancelling from ledge? Is that a slime technique or is it just some weird tech that I’ve never heard of?
