- Jagdeep Dhankhar vs Jaya Bachchan: Rajya Sabha witnessed a ruckus over BJP MP Ghanshyam Tiwari's remarks against the Leader of Opposition of the Upper House. However, Opposition walked out as Jagdeep Dhankar gave clean chit to Ghanshyam Tiwari and it was during this discussion Jagdeep Dhankar pointedly attacked SP MP Jaya Bachchan after she objected to his tone towards other MPs. Chairman of Rajya Sabha scolded RS member Jaya Bachchan, Leader of Opposition Mallikarjun Kharge over lack of decorum in the Upper House. Ruckus ensued after Jagdeep Dhankar called Jaya Bachchan a celebrity and said she cannot run down the Chairman and he won't bear it.

Honestly what is the lady's problem if she is addressed as Jaya Amitabh Bachan? If she doesn't like it and as she has said she has her own identity then let her give an affidavit (Parliament rules allow it) asking to be called as Jaya Bahduri. And body language and tone? there was absolutely nothing wrong with the speaker's tone or body language. He addressed her respectfully saying Ji and Ma'am. She is trying to get some mileage out of her (former) celebrity status. I expected more dignified behavior from her. She doesn't deserve an apology. She needs to be kicked out of the house for wasting taxpayers money by starting such ridiculous arguments.
P.S: I always admired her movies and acting and am a fan of her acting. But as an M.P. she is disappointing.
