Thank you very much, I was tired of looking for a broken wire or damaged fuse and what was really missing was the chip from the old key to be transferred to the new key.

I lost my citreon c2 lx 05 key and had to get a new one cut but the garage could never get the remote lock to work (ive been unable to lock my car for 12 months) No ive found my key a year later it doesnt want to lock the car. Tried a new battery and resyncing and nothing. Would it be anything to do with this? Maybe the garage has deactivated something?
I bought a new key fob casing as my old one was warn out and I was unable to lock my car for several days. I got my new fob, replaced the battery and then found my car would not start. It turns over but doesn't start. It started perfectly before I changed the transponder over to the new fob. What could be the problem now? I've just purchased a new transponder which i'm waiting for.
I'm not sure if you can help me but I have a c3 with a new style flip key and it started off as not starting intermittently, it just wouldnt turn over and said immobiliser fault, and now it just doesnt work at all. I only have one key. Can I reprogram any transponder for immibiliser with lexia 3 or will that just do the door unlock? Thanks. :)
Hi Perry. The problem you have is that key has become faulty. It starts of occasionally but then gets worse until it won't start at all. For the car to start you need to code in the correct transponder, Lexia will do it. You'll also need the security code Hope this helps
Hi, it depends on what car you have. If it's a Citroen C2, C3, or Peugeot 206 or 307, you'll need a complete new remote if you want to be able to use the central locking again. If it's a Pug 107 or C1 you can just have a chip supplied and coded. Do you have a second key?
Hi Chris, if you need a whole new fob, these are available from the dealer as cheap as elsewhere to be honest. If it's just a case, then Amazon or eBay at a small price
I'm angry and also happy having spent the day pulling the car apart thinking the fuel pump, filter, injectors, intake, something is wrong that the car won't start. Then I remembered I fixed my key the night before.
