Nice frag tank
Hey Bud, amazing frag tank stick with the rollermatt, here is why less maintenance and silent. Plus, it's a frag reef tank only if you use the skimmer. It will take out toomuch of bio load nutrients for the corals. The connection to the rollermat has the main connection inside the sump I case it comes off. Just seen the connection made. The bubbling will stop once the fleece roller is in place and bucket filled up at a top level in the bucket.

It is a nice build. I really like the shallowness of the tank. Its actually similar concept to what I plan for my bigger tank... 180x60x45 in cm..
Also I like the effort you put on the stand seems you tested your carpenter skills
Consider the risk if a snail or fish gets trapped in the durso-drain... running only one drain and no safety drain... it could be worth protecting the inlet... a snail could enter but get stuck in the valve..

This is going to be an awesome frag tank. Only thing that freaks me out is not having an emergency drain as I’ve had cases on my other tanks where it came in handy due to pump malfunctions or clogs. Just something to consider! Also the covers are genius, I did the same thing for mine when I had a 40 breeder and stand, cost effective!
Definitely considering it. But I think I may be a rebel this time and see what happens. 😆
That's exactly how I cycled my tank ammonia and macro bactria 7 from brightwells and everything is doing absolutely great.
Might want to put a check valve on the return side.
Wow, Nicrew (or however you spell it) makes a sleeker light than I expected. I know quite a few people run their products and have reported they work quite well. Curious about its performance long term, you’ll have to give an update on it down the line. This setup is what I’m after in the future. Nice, simple, reasonably sized frag tank, just centered around growing things out. Good video, brother.
Yes. Definitely looking forward to seeing longevity on it. Yes. Will be using it to store frags that will be for sale but also growing out corals so that I'm not doing so much cutting in the Mega Matrix.

Without at least one set of baffles just prior to your return pump you may experience micro bubbles in the DT. Looking awesome though bud cheers

Hey man I would avoid plumbing your tank with only one drain. Once you use that gate valve to silence everything it doesn't take much to clog that last bit and you'd have a flood. In your instance it would be best to have one main drain controlled by the gate valve and one unrestricted emergency drain, especially if you already have the tank drilled and can do it.
