If I'm wrong correct me appropriately, the Ouroboros is a symbol well known for eternity which is a snake. But honestly, what does a Narutard know about haute joaillerie and mythological creatures, symbolism and history anyways? I'm sure you're just interested in this watch because one of the main characters of your beloved series is a anthropomorphic snake, BTW there's no MSRP for these pieces yet, but the lesser jeweled ones go for $125,000 and up.

Amethyst would not hold well in a watch, it's too soft like all types of Quartz, it would chip very easily. Instead of Amethyst Purple Corundum would be best as it's much harder. As for your comment on Amethyst being more beautiful than diamond, it's debatable, Diamonds play more with the light as they have double the refractive index compared to Amethyst, which is one of the key reasons diamonds are so coveted.
