seriously, she puts herself between her child and an unimaginable horror without a second thought. the entire first movie is about their anxiety as parents trying to give their children a hope to live. best apocalypse parent ever.
Little note about the women's shoes in the beginning. I think practically people would have removed their high heels and such to make it easier to run away. They all happen to be women's shoes because women's foot wear is...let's say impractical at best.
26:37 Actually, they didn't. The boat was the one that was left unmoored at the docks. When the scene of them being unable to swim happened the two were on the unmoored boat and it simply drifted with the tide towards the island.
I remember seeing the first movie in theaters. Everyone was quiet throughout pretty much the whole movie, which made the scares that much worse. I liked this movie too, not as much as the first but it was still good.
I watched the first one yesterday and just finished the second. I'm sad I missed the opportunity to sit, surrounded by a hundred silent, tense audience members. Side note, my mom said she was getting a headache from being so tense and tapped out of the sequel (at the train scene)
Random tidbit: the first film was almost part of the Cloverfield Universe. The whole expansion of that universe seems to be based around JJ Abrams or whoever is in charge finding interesting Sci-Fi scripts and sticking in flimsy connections to the other films. I dread to think how this may have gone if the people who made The Cloverfield Paradox were in charge. This was the first movie I saw in the cinema since early 2020 and it was a great movie to come back to (I hadn't actually seen the first one when I booked the tickets. I wanted to see a movie for my birthday, and It was just the one I was most interested in. I watched the first film the night before seeing it so it was fresh in my mind. These movies are fantastic. The filmmaking techniques, the performances, the way they blend heart and horror so organically. The ending scene genuinely got me a little emotional and I didn't expect it to. Can't wait to see where the storyline goes next.
She’s def strong but she did make a sound when giving birth. It was during the fireworks thought so she was allowed to scream because there was a louder sound in the same way Lee and his son hooted at the waterfall because it was a louder sound.
Chekov's gun - a dramatic principle that states that every element in a story must be necessary, and irrelevant elements should be removed. If in the first act you have hung a pistol on the wall, then in the following one it should be fired. In the first movie we saw the nail sticking up through the stair and knew that would come into play.
i have both movies, and edited them in a way that u get the intro from the second one, then the whole first one, then the rest of the second one. it makes for an amazing watch.
John Krasinski didn't "write" a quiet place per se. It was pitched to him and he was reluctant at first since he doesn't do horror. but after hearing the plot, he felt he had to take it and helped adapt the script.
How funny that after the first movie, you guys thought there was nothing for a second, but after the second you think there is enough here for a third 😝
Omg im dying at the screams and commentary. "Oh bro c'mon" 😂🤣 and this was the FIRST movie i saw in over a year since covid hit in the theater. That first jump scare i legit lost a lung screaming. Lol
a trailer for the third movie was released recently and I recommend y’all watch it. Apparently the third movie’s gonna be about the meteors in the sky at the beginning of the second quiet place film
You guys should definitely do Apocalypto trust me !!! I've been seeing this movie requested a couple of times in your channel so I wanted to see what the hype was all about and holy hell was it intense and thrilling. I don't get why it is this underapreciated. I would definitely recommend this movie 100%.
Quick refresher for the first movie; Micky noticed the newspaper clippings in Part I talking about Shanghai, Mexico, Tokyo, New York etc. being attacked by these aliens who hunt by sound. So it's not just this small town.
I love how they did the opposite of the main characters finding trouble in the other side, now the other side was living in peace until out main characters came in.
The aliens planet blew up and the aliens were so tough they survived the destruction of their planet. The meteor that crashed was a chunk of their planet l.
I read someone's theory that this monsters were made by other aliens, who as smart as humans or even smarter, and they made this monsters so they will "clean" Earth from humanity for the smart aliens
Realistically, if they were able to hear small sounds from such great distances, they'd DEFINITELY be able to hear your heartbeat and your breathing up close. But it's a movie, so we just have to accept that things won't always be perfectly realistic.
I wonder if it’s just because they just know they’re in their own place and filming a reaction so they’re being loud but I wonder how Rana and pat are at theaters. I rarely watch horror/thriller movies at theaters because i have adhd and I can’t really control my reactions but maybe for regular people they can.
Emily Blunt's character deserves an award for best mother-in-apoplyptic world.
Absolutely!!
@@justanormalguy4816 Heck yeah!

I agree with you 👍
The idea was so good. A deaf girl pioneers the counterattack against the blind, all-hearing aliens.
wow good point
damn, I never thought of it that way

I agree, I thought that was one of the main reasons too, also high heels are such a noisy shoe compared to sneakers or flats
@@abunaiakane High heels make it almost impossible to run. Movies that show women running in them without kicking them off are liars.

I think everyone had the same reaction to when he stepped in the bear trap 😭 also the flash back to day 1 is just amazing
Holy shit, just finished watching Blind Wave's reaction, opened UA-cam again and this was right in the front! Just perfect timing!
BlindWave is the best reactor for all movie IMO
Watching Rana react to horror movie is ALWAYS a treasure 😂

Can I just say they’re the only people who took Marcus’s side When he got his foot caught, everybody else is screaming at him “like stop screaming.”
let’s be real though, we’d all scream like him in that situation
I was literally crying with him when he stepped on that bear trap😢I wouldn’t survive yho
This is awesome. I just watched their Quiet Place reaction today, I wasn't expecting this.
literally one of the best reacting channels out there
I'm just gonna repeat that........"literally one of the best reacting channels out there"

Then why not thank Suraj too? Rana ain’t impressed by your thirst.

I couldn’t have been the only one waiting for this.
Finally!
I was sceptical about part 2, but it was as good and tense as first one. Really did not expected that.
John Krasinski DID work on the writing/screen play along with another guy.
John Krasinski didn't "write" a quiet place per se. It was pitched to him and he was reluctant at first since he doesn't do horror. but after hearing the plot, he felt he had to take it and helped adapt the script.
He did write it, it's just not his story. He rewrote the screenplay & was given a writer's credit for making sufficient changes.
i can't even scream while watch this movie 😂 this movie is so gooodd, can't wait for part 3
Love you guys , great reaction ❤️
the YEET THE BABY comment had ne rolling 😂 and there won't be a part 3 but they are already writing a spinoff set to come out in 2023
It was reported earlier this week that the guy tasked with doing the spinoff left the project.
POLLY MORGAN's cinematography deserves more recognition
I'm a fan of her work, ever since LEGION
How funny that after the first movie, you guys thought there was nothing for a second, but after the second you think there is enough here for a third 😝
Ah yes the random drifting boat was completely their fault and totally something they could control
The bear trap part got me so hard.

Rana loves the word "yeet"
This film is perfect to watch on Halloween!
The boy was so traumatized from the first movie he grew 2 feet.
and his voice got deeper in minutes, canonically

Rana’s scream at 5:09. 🤣

Rana‘s reactions are the best. LOL
3rd sequel is coming. Loved how Rana kept losing her mind.
Not confirmed though. Also it'd be a second sequel, since Part II is the first sequel :P
Loved this reaction! Hahahhaha
I'm a simple man... I see Rana in the thumbnail, I watch the reaction.
Theres suppose to be a 3rd one next year

I really want Rana and Pat to react to the Saw movies.
