Hey! Thank you so much. I didn’t use any filters. I shot bare lens. I got the scans back in Log, added a 2383 FPE lut, and balanced the color from there. Mostly moved things around till I liked it.
All the shots with subjects far from camera ...1.30 and beyond is out of focus. Why is that. you just didnt nail focus? The lenses were not focusing far enough?
The director wanted the talent to run around freely and have the steadi op follow and improvise. We were falling behind on schedule, and there was not really any time to "rehearse". It was a "The camera is just going to go, and I need you to pull and cross your fingers." type of shot. Not really something that can be easily done on film, but that is what was asked for. The lenses held up well. Everyone did great. Just the nature of the moment.
This is exquisite
Excellent image capture / camera work. What steadicam did you use? Excellent operation of it btw.
I’m not sure what model it was, but the operator was Hayden Griewe who works locally in LA.
Yo this looks awesome! Did you use a filter for the 200T to make it more balanced? Forget the name of the filter.
fancy seeing you here
@@YuvalAloni haha whatup.. picking up an LT tomorrow, trying to choose a stock 🥶

Nice footage Mitch! Was it 2-perf pulldown? Was it color-graded? I really think this video is amazing
This footage was 3-perf with 1.5x anamorphic for a 2:39:1 delivery.
Which focal lengths did you use?
We had the full set. I believe most of these were on the 42mm and 36mm.
