Truck shops wanted $1000 in labor to replace my air bags. No parts included. After watching this video I put all 4 air bags on in a couple hours. Just 2 bolts on each bag. Saved a $1000. Thank You!
1000 bucks wow it's 8 bolts 4 too 6 quick release air lines for all 4 there pretty simple try to do them yourself

Good work. I m not a mechanic but just a little tip to make your job a little quick and easier, you should get any cheap cordless drill and 3/4 or 1/2 for adapter for sockets. Very cheap. You could use them for twisting nuts and bolts once you break them loose by hand.
Nice job believe me I have exactly the same airbag leaking 😂😂😂. I didn’t know is that easy. I’m replacing the last two in my truck when I get back home

But I have couple of questions ⁉️
I just spent over $1200 for 3 air bags and one valve and tightening of other valves at Sapp Bros in salt lake city UT. they charge 1 hour labor per bag, Wow you did this in 12 mins. and the worst part part of it is, it still leaks.

So to clarify, you're just kinking that plastic air line over hoping not to crack it? Maybe there's a better way to avoid dumping your air pressure?
Their is a better way…buy a plug with adapter from the parts or Lowe’s for example….but parts will save you extra trip and time,fuel etc….😂😂😂😂
He change this airbag a little harder since he doesn’t use anything but probably Harbor freight basic tools…..but he did it.
When I change mine I clean underneath frame and repaint everything….is a longer process but everything will be worth it when winter is coming and nasty salt or calcium chloride starts eating from frame.

I didn't k iw I had to align the little groves on too of the bag. When I changed mine . The bag also kinda twisted when I tightened it. Is that why they're crooked?

@@hameedullahsafi3159 you can do it with a jack or you can just disconnect the airbag hose when the truck is off and then turn it on and pump up your airbags which will lift the truck itself. Make sure the trailer is disconnected. Hope that helps:)

terry mulkey I like them because the DOT does not check them like they check regular brakes. Stopping is the same I think.
The newer one is always easier to install than the old one.. airbags be a bih especially on a trailer

No, there is a release ring around the very end of the fitting. You have to push the hose in, then push in the ring and pull the hose out.
