One thing I really loved about Gareth Edwards' Godzilla (2014) was the sound design. They used a lot of very low pitched sounds to build tension and give Godzilla a real sense of power and scale. It was incredible to experience it in the theater. And with Edwards taking the reigns on this one I'm really hoping for some creative use of sound to make the dinosaurs absolutely terrifying.
Kids can still see it, let’s not pretend like a rating is actually going to stop the majority in of people from watching it. Hell, I was watching r rated movies since I was 9
The first time I read the original novel I was absolutely shocked at the baby scene and Dennis's death. From that moment on I knew an r rated Jurassic movie was just what the franchise needs
@@LUXXZEDITS we need to be realistic though. if it was rated R, they would probably lose millions of dollars due to most of the audience being kids so that means that if it was rated R that would probably cut off their bottom line.
We know, but we have high hopes that it will be a good movie because we have a great director (Gareth Edwards who did The Creator, Rogue One and Godzilla 2014)
Valid point, however an R rating implies a lot more creative liberty that the novel had in terms of its horror. I mean who wouldn’t want Crichton’s dinosaur horror truly visualized
It’ll be so cool if it shows the scene of the book series, since I love the contrast of both movie and book, and it’ll be so cool to see some characters from the book be placed in the movie, Wbu?

I could get on that train. I loved your video on dinosaurs attack. Somebody said in the comments one of the artists was in a war and some of the violent artwork was based on that. I mean it’s shocking that they’ve managed to create Jurassic park movies on a pg-13 rating that is impressive, people getting eaten and tore apart by dinosaurs wouldn’t be pretty, dinosaurs would look at us like prey or maybe even a challenge and there’s no moral compass they are animals just like how every year people are attacked by animals, including dogs so it’s about time hopefully if it doesn’t work oh well, but let’s be honest it’s gonna be a box office hit and a critical hit if it’s real this is what we want.
I REALLY hope it will be a comeback after the last movie..... Im not saying the last one is bad,I mean the way that gigantic dino got pierced was awesome. I just hope it will bring more interesting stuff and OFCOURSE MORE SCREEN TIME FOR THE DINOS AND THEIR FIGHT SCENES!
I wanna see a movie based off of the novel including the t rex throwing the car in the air the baby nedrys death Henry's death and most of the important parts of the novel
imagine hearing realistic calls and seeing people getting shredded or real horror game level shit. that's what i want to see, the true terror of these beasts
The Jurassic Park series has always had elements of gore and horror. To have an entire movie go all out with an R rating would be an awesome step in movie making without limitations, not that this series ever needed an R rating to be good, but it’d still be interesting to think how creative they can get.
Regardless I’m hoping that this is either a dive into the past or surrounding new characters or maybe even an alternate universe thing because I feel like they’ve already wrapped up the main storyline and I feel like adding onto it might just make it worse instead of better. Of course I could be wrong but just in my experience whenever big franchises try to do a rebirth of sorts it usually goes bad and at best people watch it to hate so I’m hoping this is different
If they bring it back to resemble the books more it will be successful. It’s a horror book. I’ve read both Jurassic park and lost world. And they both were not shy about the gore.
Imagine that we are all in the cinema and watching the opening and we get a chase scene at 1st person view and they hide in the shadows under a giant tree, a moment later we hear hissing sounds and multiple glowing red/green eyes can be seen.
If there gonna make a new movie then I more than hope these type of scenes will occur incuding: A part where at night a Quetzalcoatlus or Hatzegopterx roams at night then a night worker gets snatched up by the quetzalcoatlus as a jump scare, then at dawn the absence of the co worker is noticed then they find a regurgitated co worker hat along with some boots along with an upper skeleton. A part where a Brachiosaurus roams the swamps with its calf then a Biga kills the calf, instead of running away the Brachiosaurus goes of on a rampage, eventually trampling the Giga, killing it. and lastly a part where they introduce the Microraptor and put it in their aviary eventually a bad storm damages the glass, leaving holes in the aviary leading to the Microrpators escaping and flying away. Then it cuts to a clip where a Microraptor eats a mouse, then flies up into the treetops later being a broken shiny piece of metal, the Microraptor is attracted to the Shine in it, eventually placing it into the nest.
I believe someone *did* say something about the next Jurassic World movie being scary (though I don't remember who), so we might actually get an R-rated Jurassic World movie.

Yes Gareth Edwards directed it. However he had no creative control or really any creative imput. The Producers pretty much had all creative control in the pre-production. They needed a director to come in and direct it the way they wanted it. That's why he was the 2nd choice. Their first choice left when he couldn't have any creative input.
