I can name 10 things ya did wrong.!!! However I can name 1000 things ya did right. Looks great for only doing a few paint jobs . Plus on a big rig !! I do paint and body and you need a award 🥇 good stuff man . The only defiance between a good body guy and a bad one is what you do wen you “F” up ! We all mess up and we all learn something new daily. Love the channel thanks for bringing us along!
Boy that look great ! I have always painted single stage. But after watching you i think i will try to paint two stage system ! Thanks for all the tips !
Mark ive watched you since you pulled that beast out of the field and you have turned her into a beauty. I love watching you and I've learned more than a few things from you. Your drive and tenacity to finish these trucks is awesome sir. Keep up the great work. I'll be watching from South Carolina
I don't blame you for taking the chance to do it now instead of waiting for spring. That way you can get it back together how you want just in time to start to enjoy it in spring. It looks great.
G'day Mark, Persistence pays off... The paint n clear is looking so good , its shining so bright , we can see her all the way Down Under here in OZ , Yup, nice job . Respect....!
absolutely beautiful work mark LBL is coming along cant wait to see the chrome go back up and for it to be done keep it up cant wait for the next episode
The truck is looking great in that blue colour Mark, and thank god you are using modern paint technology. Back when I was a kid helping my dad and uncle, they were still using lacquer paint, that was nasty stuff and the shine came from the number of coats you applied and rubbing out between coats. The base coat / clear coat seems better and the masks have come a long way as well.
Mark, I think you might've caught a break with this second attempt at clear coating. From what I can tell, it looks like a job well done. Of course you'll be the ultimate judge. Lookin' forward to your next episode to hear the verdict. Good day to you!
Nice work Mark! That blue is still awesome, it's gonna look so minty with all the chrome. I still think a little classic pinstriping would be the go, but that's down to you. Marvelous effort mate! Looking forward to the finished product.
Looks awesome. Given the difference in the way both trucks were painted, looks like the base / clear produces a much nicer result for sure. Hard work pays off.
Mark you never seem to give up and your perseverance has finally paid off. That paint job looks Great and man I can't wait to see it with all the chrome back on it.. 👌👌👌
Far out mark you done great buddy thank you for showing us on how to do it. Cant wait till next saturday stay warm. If you got it a trucker brought it❤
Wow I’ve been messing around with base clear for years and for your first/second clear coat awesome work. Way to do your research and apply that knowledge to a beautiful paint job. Well done sir!
Practice does indeed, if not make you perfect, it makes you better. When you get to painting the cabover you can watch your videos and you’ll hopefully still have some muscle memory left and you’ll do a great job on it. Congrats on your patience and persistence, two attributes you have to have to be successful in life.
i like what you did to Little by little and also how you learn evrytime more about painting the truck i have watch the complete transformation of l.b.l. go on Mark i will follow you from Holland
Looking forward to the 15min short video on run repair lol jk mark! Best of luck with the new revamp paint job. Still a great color! Looking forward to seeing what she looks like all put back together
I was always told to stop spraying when you switch back to the other direction, to prevent having any runs in paint. LBL is coming together nicely, long way from where she was sitting in that field! Keep up the good work Mark!
I knew you could fix the paint Mark yes it was a lot of hard work But LBL is in great hands knowing you on the channel for many years I knew you would tackle it and you sure, did LBL looks fantastic awesome job 👍🏼
Morning, looks great . Glad to see you decided to get'r done. Kinda miss the really cool Country and Western music you used to play during the "fast -forwards". Take care, always look forward to Thursday mornings.
Respect Mark ! take two turns out beautiful ! 🤩 I really hope for you it stays like that, because of the temperature. 🤞🤞🤞 I can’t wait to see the result ! Keep up the good work ! I like your channel a lot ! 😊👍🏼
Getting there Mark. Don’t worry about. runs dirt etc. Anything can be sanded. Out and corrected. I’m all for anyone learning a new skill and getting in doing it themselves, but those at home, please note, just because Mark has done things a certain way, doesn’t mean it’s the correct or best way.
@ well yes I was complimenting your approach to learning new skills and doing the work yourself. But, let’s face it. You have only painted one truck before and probably shouldn’t be offering how to tips to others. Many professional truck painters have given you advice on from sanding and prep, bodywork and primer, preparation of the workshop for painting and the actual job of painting and clear, but you chose to ignore it and do it your own way. And that’s fine. It’s your truck. Your time spent doing the work and your wallet buying materials. You can do it a way you want, but others shouldn’t use your video as a tutorial.👍
@ not wrong. Better, more efficient, faster, less work, better result. Just saying, after painting one truck, aren’t qualifcations for providing tutorials. But anyway, as they say…there’s more than one at to fck a cat. Keep up the good work. 👍🚀

“That’s all the sanding I’m gonna do on this truck…AT LEAST FOR NOW!!” Ha ha ha ha ha! Thanks for cracking me up!
Mark. How about changing out a couple of those door windows into exhaust vents with fans while spraying? Keeps the doors closed and whatnot.
Or put a exhaust fan in the back wall
My thoughts exactly

You definitely have the patience of a saint. Nice job.
Mark you need a intake vent tube through the garage wall, into your torpedo heater. Then any air your bringing in is hot.
From where she came from to where she will be is going to be a head turner for sure !
He done good on that one didn't he Fred 😊
