@@05Elantra98GSGang wouldn't mind tagging along. Florida is now 🥵🥵
Hey Russ, I’d keep
My head on a swivel always for snakes, bears and mountain lions. I see a bear each time I travel blue ridge parkway/sky line drive.
I feel the same way.. but I probably will not hug him..😅
There is nothing like Tennessee and North Carolina mountains
Especially in the fall. It’s breathtaking
HEY, Hey, RVerTV Russ, Love The Blue Ridge Parkway,Thank you once again for letting us all pile in.YEA.👍
My great great Grandmother was full blooded Cherokee. Her name was “Comfort Christian”. She lived to be 115 years old.
yeah, ok....
Loving this video ,,
My Daddy brought all 4 of us kids when we were little’
He’s since passed and then Myself and my Husband Daniel G. Came through here as well ,,
On vacation but now he’s also passed this past yr.
So all these memories are priceless ❤
Thank you Mr. Russ ,, for this Trip ,, I’m getting to see again !!! I’m 77 now ‘
Why is a Parkway a place to drive, but a driveway is a place to park. Go figure.
Ha ha ha😂 Great observation!
BEAUTIFUL NORTH CAROLINA AND VIRGINIA RAISED IN CANTON N.C. AND IN DANVILLE VA ❤❤❤❤
I went to Camp Daniel Boone in Canton many years ago.
hello i had a terrible day at work today and when i got home i didnt know wat to do what to listen to or what to watch,i stumbled on your video and wow it was magic i needed that! thanks great video and awesome audio your voice is soothing thanks keep it up! god bless and drive safely
Haven’t been on the Blue Ridge in years , when I was young , used to go every year. This has been a pleasure brought back a lot of memories. Thank you , you did real … cool.
One of my favorite craft galleries in the country is across the street from the Museum of the Cherokee. The Qualla Co op is definitely worth a stop if you enjoy authentic indigenous art.
Thanks for the video I'm disabled I can only travel by bus and it's hard I find your videos very calming and it makes you feel like your in the seat !
NC my home . That's why I like calling N C home. We are beautiful from the Mountain Tops to all across the Piedmont till you get to the beaches. One beautiful state.
Lived up there in Boone and Asheville for a long time, love being on the parkway especially in winter. Craggy Gardens, Mt Mitchell and a short drive to Linville Falls.
It nice for you to tour all these countries for us to see where we live. We have here in southern Alberta Canada and navigate a chance to get down in the states since 2002. Thank you very very much for sharing your journey through all these nice beautiful states may God bless you throughout the years.
I love NC. Once lived in Hendersonville. I miss it
You're driving through my most favorite area of our country. The Blue Ridge Parkway. You have no idea how much I wish I was there to see it with you. Lived in Knoxville Tn for 10 years. I spent every chance I had going through all that area. If you ever get the chance go to Maggie Valley, NC. It's my most favorite place to be. I'm so jealous. I hope you're having a great time.
That stretch of US 441 is such a nice drive!
My ears were popping just watching. What beautiful footage ❤
Nice video inside the Cherokee museum but you’ve GOT to go inside to feel the reverence and smell the history. Read everything. Plan on 2 hours to do it justice and revisit in the future to catch a ton of stuff you missed the first time! I’ve been four times and counting.
This was fun and the memories 🙂 thanks 👍
On the road again 🎶
I've been once to that area and we RV'd staying at the Scott Kerr Lake Army Corp of Engineers Campground at Wilkesboro, NC. Great place by the way. We went to the Parkway and up about 15 miles that day to a couple of gorgeous overlooks driving our then "Toad car". Green grasses on the side of the road. We were still living in Florida back then. I think 2018 was when we were there. As for the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, we liked Smokemont Campground on the NC side near Cherokee. No hookups but they allow daytime generator use and have water and clean restrooms.
Thank u so much for a great drive...it's been on my list for years....you did a wonderful job allowing me to experience it.
Thanks for sharing North Carolina Beautiful mountains , Even more Beautiful looking at it on my TV
Love the Veterans Memorial Park! Did not realize that was there! Beautiful! We took the kids camping back 30- 40 years ago, stayed at the KOA in Cherokee! Now my husband and I go to the Casino in Cherokee! Very nice!!
I love traveling along in your road adventures....the quality of your camera lense is outstanding!
Love the guided tour of beautiful North Carolina along with your commentary! You've got a great sense of humor. 😅 What an amazing place!
You missed Clingmans Dome on the right of the TN NC border...Plus FDR dedicated the Smoky mountains Park 60 yrs ago there at NewFound Gap TN 🦋🌄🐻🏞️
Those are rhododendrons and or mountain laurel. The writing on the wall with waterfalls is the Cherokee language and American language
This video is super awesome. Loved the museum. Thank you for sharing. I plan to visit.
The roof is like that so the birds don't sit up there and poop all day.
We’re you able to visit Cades Cove and drive around the loop? If not, a must see your next trip.
Hello from Gatlinburg! I just left in comments how he missed Clingmans Dome and New Found Gap 😊🌄🏞️
Living in the areas, craggy, mt Mitchell and hearing your excitement makes me realize how we take for granted the areas we live in… My dad and uncles back in the day worked on construction of many places on the BRP, Many locals did back in the day… years ago I had a jeep renegade and in the summer it was awesome to take the top off and ride up to mt Mitchell for a good cool off…. Many places along the parkway their are pipes coming out that have the best mt spring water you can find… you just have to have a bottle… it’s always ice cold… love this video, makes me appreciate home :)
Hello from Gatlinburg TN Smoky Mountains Park! Great job! I do Vlogs Daily here in Gatlinburg, Smokies , Pigeon Forge...So happy you guys made it here. . Beautiful isn't it?? Come say hi! 🏞️🌄🐻
At the end of the Folk Art Museum, you mentioned 2 items that you didn't know what they were. The first were wire brushes used to card, or straighten fibers before spinning. The second thing was a foot-powered jig saw -- an ingenious idea -- with pedals!
Soooo LOVE Going on these GREAT Trips, ADVENTURES 😁 !!!
Especially with Your Laid Back, Take Your Time, Discriptive and Gentle Way 🙂!!!
What a GREAT TREAT 😊 !!!
THANK YOU, RUSS !!!
You talked on this video, about not getting to see any much Green💚🍏 out there in Arizona, I get it, I'm from the FingerLakes, NYS.
I am totally used to and Lovin' the Green We have here. Especially after I was in Show Low for 5 months last year. Although there is still a Green out there, with the Ponderosa Pines and some of the growth along the way🙂.
Guess I've taken it for Granted here !!!
Though, I LOVE SL !!!
So Blessed to be able to have gone there !!!
And experience AZ, at least to a degree, bc
I'm mostly stuck in NY.
By the way, it sounds like You're an Arizona transplant ? So, where were You before,
and, how'd You end up there, may I ask ?
Anyway, as We were taking the walk to see the Cataract Falls, Epic You said they were,
I Noticed how Surreal and Vibrant the Green seemed to be there, along that Pathway, waaay more than is NY's !!!!!!
Ok, Back to the Scenic Tour 👍😎
Just love your videos and personality, Russ. Been stuck in the house with all this rain here, so it really is a treat, thank you.
Thanks 👍
You’re sweet too, Evelyn
Thank you for this visit footage! And the museum. I am not enough percent Cherokee blood but so drawn to it. And the green every where!! Now I really want to plan a trip there❤!
Beautiful scenery!! I found most of Alaska’s water however to be very clear and beautiful rather than silty.
Absolutely beautiful, love Blue Ridge Mountains.
Beautiful Scenery! Thanks for Sharing Russ!
Yes, there was the great fire of 2016 in gatlinburg. You can google it. It was on national news. Wiped out homes and people in hours. I remmber it well. I had my truck packed and dog and ready to roll cause I was one way in and one way out in nc side. Long night. Hurricane type winds just sent the fire reeling out of control and out of the park and through and across gatlinburg. Trapping many. The perfect storm. It is on Wikipedia and was in national
News. Devastating
😪
Hi there, new to your channel from San Antonio. My bff and I will be driving from Tennessee to the Biltmore in Asheville, NC in October. Can't wait!!! Your video was spectacular. Thank you!!
Welcome!!
Glad you enjoyed your time on the Blue Ridge Parkway. Being an NC resident and only 2 hours from it, I've driven all of the sections, just not contiguously. You missed showing the turn off to Mount Mitchell, the highest point in the east. And Linville Falls, with several miles of trails to a neat waterfall. Also, Rough Ridge at 2:01 is a short but steep hike to an incredible view of Grandfather Mountain, the Linn Cove Viaduct, and the whole valley around it. That parking lot is usually full. Craggy Dome, just north of the visitor center is another short hike to incredible 360 views. You can see all the way to Tennessee!
Been there done that, thanks for the memories ❤ I started in Chattanooga, TN and ended in Salisbury NC! They have the best transportation museum in my opinion.
Another beautiful place. ❤❤❤
Absolutely beautiful❤
Mr Russ, I am wondering what the inside of your RV looks like and what all it offers. The layout of it. I think it would be nice if you could prepare something to eat, sit down and enjoy that! I would enjoy that too. Love going across America with you. Thanks for taking me along.
Kinda funny..we left Saturday morning after the shooting in Laughlin('02)and road straight across the Country to where you are now..the Cherokee Survivor Rally, at the Casino. Stopped at the Spring car show in Pigeon Forge, road thru the Smokies, then Tail of the Dragon, before heading back to NM. Moved to Tenn later that year. Riding the Harley is the best way to travel. But I'm older now so I will be pulling the H-D, but have all the time in the world. Stay safe. ✌
Thanks Russ!! Gorgeous scenery. I've never been there. Safe travels!!!
I loved reliving my travel through the Blue Ridge parkway. Just an awesome ride. I was there in November and it was cold and gloomy but mountains were awesome. the Craft Museum was closed when I was there but I am so glad you walked thru it! I got to experience it with you! thank you Russ!
Hello from Gatlinburg.. Stunning isn't it
Blue Ridge parkway is beautiful. My family just got back from a cabin there.
Thank you for sharing and inspiring my plans to visit the Blue Ridge Parkway! There are 25 tunnels and the shortest is 11'8" so camper vans should be good to go!!!🏞️
If I didn't know better, I'd swear I was listening to my brother. Great vid. Tganks
When I was a kid we the family went to North Carolina every year camping . And would travel over to Gatlinburg one full day. Thanks for your video . Brougjt back many memories .
Russ, always enjoy your trips! We took a month long road trip to the west coast a couple of years ago and I used your videos to help plan our route. Taking another long trip this fall to the east coast, and the Blue Ridge Parkway is definitely on the itinerary! Your videos are always so clear and crisp, just like I'm riding in the passenger seat with you! Thanks and keep on truckin'!
Great trip! I was born in Boone NC near the Parkway! I never saw Cherokee although my Dad hoped we could! I’m the oldest of 7 childbirth! We never went on vacation! Thank you for this video!❤️😀🚙🦌

I'm currently in AZ working. Been here for a few months and I've watched a lot of your Arizona and Southwest US content for exploration ideas out here. Western NC is home for me so it's really cool to see you exploring my home area.
Enjoyed the snickers and laughs!
Great drive! Things are really greening up on the Parkway. I’m so glad you turned around and got the money shot of the Viaduct for your thumbnail. Beautiful job. There is camping at Julian Price. It’s primitive camping (no water or electric), but it’s there...nice place for a picnic. Thanks for bringing us along. I’m glad you chase the water when you hear it! It’s so nice and relaxing. Have a great week. Jane❤🙏🏻
