Hey can you tell me what sort of tube an AGM Wolf-14 , or the housing rather for one would take? It seems like my FAT ANVIS tube should fit, and it does, however it’s to thick from front to rear for the objective lense to then be placed back onto the housing

Classic leaky battery damage. Too bad it ate into the wire and made the repair more difficult.
Still, you might like one of those glass fibre eraser pens from artist shops.
They work wonders when you have to remove heavy corrosion like rust.
Ideally use them in a small puddle of alcohol or WD-40, so the glass fibre dust is contained. That stuff is nasty.
