The local RC club came out to put on an awesome show before the Monster Trucks a couple weekends ago. All sorts of rigs gas and electric, all awesome and only a bit of carnage.
RCSparks Studio once, when I was at a monster truck show, I quickly started my buggy, ran down to the non-existent fence and tossed it in the arena. People enjoyed watching me clear big jumps, doing wallrides and ripping up the track.
what arena is this? it looks like certain death for anyone sitting on the lower deck with monster trucks flying around out of control going into the stands. the hay bails aren't going to do shit.
+ostacruiser well I figured that much I can see the rope blocking it off but I still personally would not want to sit anywhere on that lower deck. I have been to the monster jam events in San Antonio since the 1980s and I have witnessed a death already. Back then we had ours in the Freeman colosseum which is very small just like this one. They built the Alamodome in early 90s I believe and it was much safer. The death I saw wasn't monter truck related it was a stunt by two guys named Randy and Spanky jumping two cars and crashing head on in mid air. Randy went too slow I guess or spanky was too fast and spankys car hit head on into randys windshield and decapitated him. The monster truck death happened in an arena just like this one and the Freeman colosseum where it went out of control and started heading for the stands and a kid was in the way and another man pushed the kid out of the way and was ranover and killed. Anything can happen at these events.
I would not go to this event, we had monster trucks at our county fair, with a similar set up, but with out stadium seating, and it's still dangerous, we've had the trucks go off corse, with a little jump but luckily the kill switch stooped it befor it got over the barakade

I love that RC Axial Yeti paint job dude, its looks like a bunch of stickers thrown together to look like art, Its probably a wrap now that i think about it, because only a handful of people can paint like that.
The guy with the white 1/8th scale truggy was killing it !!! Front flips, back flips, man every jump he was fully commited !!! Tons of laughs also, the guy who got his transmitter smashed by the Traxxas Slash lolllll And to the guy who ran his RC into the chick lolllll Great vid man !!!

It burnt on me....patiently waiting for Traxxas to figure out what they're going to do about it. One thing for sure is no more Xmaxx vids for a while : (
That Sucks Man!! last weekend mine got Run Over by a JEEP! and if the front shock shaft didn't break I could've kept right on Bashing! it was less than $50 to fix. I put a video of it on my channel if you feel like checking it out and I hope they get you fixed up Soon!! Thumbs Up!

Ryan Sorrell All the first lower sections are blocked off. No one sits there during the show. It's Sask Place in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan
