- An AMV of Thunderstruck by AC/DC
All footage recorded from DCS
I do not own any of the music in this video, if you somehow don't know about AC/DC, yikes. Go check them out I guess-
They are actually pretty cool when ready for war loaded up
Nice!! Love this thing in VR!
It turns out that the song I referenced in " Iron Eagle " wasn't by Iron Maiden at all . " We're Not Gonna Take It Anymore ! " was performed by Twisted Sister instead ! My apologies to all my fellow head-bangers and heavy metal fans ! I'm old now and my memory isn't what it used to be, sorry ! 😐
I've been seeing 👀 quite a few videos lately using music or videos from " Thunder Struck ! [ Ironman II for one; and USN Fleet Manuvering ] I like the music, dudes ! If I might suggest another movie with a rocking, kick-ass beat to it'd be Iron Eagle 🤔! The latter part of the movie has music from Iron Maiden's " We're Not Gonna Take It Anymore ! " and is played really loud, like it should be when the protagonist is up against seemingly overwhelming odds on the ground and in the air as well ! At first, he's tempted to forget his mission and run away ; then he remembers a tape his fellow pilot recorded for him, and as it plays -it's deafening loud ! The tape goes over everything they planned to do together and what contingencies his parter pilot planned in case the original plan goes awry ! It's like Iron Maiden cranked up to an 11, and he listens to it and becomes enraged at the enemy callously shooting his POW father! His son , the pilot in the F-16, starts raining hellfire mericessly on the ground, taking out oil tanks, armored vehicles, missle batteries, anti-aircraft guns, and the main radio tower! Don't ever peeve off a fully -armed fighter plane pilot 😤 ! Occasionally, when I run into a problem, now I get this tune and Iron Maiden to power me through ! Thanks, UA-cam, and keep on rocking it out, dudes !
Flashback to CavHooah days.
Does anyone still have the vids?
Mil-sim, or did you serve?
@@Spirit-418 Both. I helped SPC Rodeferr paint the Eddie flash for 1-101st AHB back before the First Gulf. MOS 68D. But what I'm referring to is CavHooah's Channel. He had a great compilation video set to this same music.
@@Spirit-418 Here's the "Thunderstruck II" video he produced:

Ah. Interesting. During a formation flight, I was listening to this music and it just sounded amazing. I also know that thunderstruck is sorta the go-to song for the Apache. I have no editing experience whatsoever, so I just made this for fun with the footage I had. Glad it was received well, definitely not expecting that. Part of me wishes I worked harder on it knowing it got so many views.
@@NorthForkFisherman and thank you for your service.
First
who inspired this edit of yours
I listen to Thunderstruck a lot while flying the Apache(Along with other songs) so thunderstuck just came to mind. I was loving the Apache at the time, and had tons of footage, so I figured why not put it all together? I've seen a few similar videos before, and just felt like I could make a low-effort one. Despite not really doing anything like this before, I thought it looked not bad.
So to answer your question, no one really, I was just bored and thought it might look cool.
@@Spirit-418 there's this very old video of american helicopters edited to this song and its what started me editing in the first place. ithought u had the same inception too but no i guess
Good Afternoon 🇺🇸💫☝🏻
