Escape Velocity from Earth via Differential Equations

We use the Newton Law of Gravitation to compute the escape velocity from earth: the initial velocity needed for a projectile to enter orbit. We solve a separable differential equation to find this velocity. This is an ideal model where no other celestial bodies or air resistance is assumed.
