Holy shit my heart.
I’ve been listening to stuff like this after a super heavy episode in my life that’s lasted pretty much for 3 years.
Listening to this makes me feel like I’m looking up at the stars at night in my water proof military poncho, no one to relate to but my own first person recorded experience I call my life, but ironical enough I feel more connected than ever in some pagan, neo-spiritual way.
The pain is so crushing, but what’s on the other side is unexplainable. It’s like a look you give someone and that someone looks back and just knows.
If anyone knows what the duck I’m talking about you know, and you’ll know that this isn’t music to make you feel suicidal or anything, but as a projection or a release for an unspoken feeling too overwhelming….
The stars stop becoming stars and start to become eyes…
Thanks for all the comments, i've begun a new chapter anew, i do agree that we must hold fast in times of difficulty.

You need to check out Asunder, Aldebaran or Mournful Congregation if you haven't yet. Those are the the bands that started all of this. And are the best in the genre.

and it's quite annoying, since I know Markov (Slow (US)) well and we ended up to have : water themed / funeral doom / named Slow. Quite insane if you ask me

The beginning of the vocal on the first track looks very much like a breaking wave. Guitars "ripple", "foam" in the ear. The atmosphere of the album is very oceanic, it is strange even. Such a precise conversion as a kind of hug from a dying Poseidon. And it's bad, but it's good. It makes you want to cry, but it's a "clean" cry.
Spot on. Like a current at the bottom of the ocean that no light would ever touch.
great description. I love it when there is such congruency, that artwork, lyrics and music create the very thing you think about... the vast, sorrowful ocean, infinite depths, but also tranquility, peace, calmness.

I just LOVE the instrumentals on this but I so wish the vocals weren't as 2012-style-br00tal-death0re type.
Maybe it's just me but standard death metal vocals or even clean vocals (or no vocals at all) could've really elevated this to something amazing. Maybe I'm just not familiar with the other projects this band did tho.

Wouldn't it be fair to state that he is a Belgian musician currently located in Belgium and that the album had been recorded in Belgium, too? Even on metal-archives.com this information is shown.
Come on, Bulgaria has absolutely amazing bands man. I had the chance to witness so many great bands. Including Upyr (may Boro rest in peace) for example. So many golden bands there. So many.

Hey Simeon. I used to live in Sofia for almost five years. That's why it was named as Bulgarian at some point. But I've been back in Belgium since last year. Sorry for the confusion. (Yet the album was mainly composed when I was in Sofia)

Not really for this album unfortunately. Sofia inspired me other albums I created there, like "Aurora Borealis - Mornings (EP)" or "Sources of I - Faces (EP)". In different styles of course.
