Please keep these up! As a UA-camr with a massive following like yours, it’s super fab to see your prospective on these videos. It’s truly helping me make some different editing choices. Peace.🌻
Hey Kevin! I knew you had this channel, but had completely forgotten about it. I love your (and the teams) videos and shorts/reels. You've been a great inspiration to me as I try to create and develop my gardening UA-cam channel and Instagram account. It's awesome to watch a successful gardening creator talking about what makes a video good when you're trying to create gardening content. It's much better than taking (mostly great) advice from people who are creating content from much more different niches. To me, watching you talk about this is much more interesting. I know this one was 6 months ago, but I really hope you get to make more of these again somewhere in the future!
@@kevinmespiritu hi!!! Just wanted to ask a few things I have a idea for a company for product reviews and I have a lot of ideas for it and I think it will really work but I am thinking about naming it Product Feed do you think that’s a good name and do you have any tips for me
I follow the Cottage Fairy myself. It definitely is a peaceful channel. Lol. I've seen her face quite a lot. She actually got married a few months ago and showed us her pretty and simple-style dress. She looked very nice.
Watched your video today on creating a pathway and would love to hear the behind the scenes. From thumbnail to execution and what was going through your mind as you were doing it. How many shots were planned vs what was impromptu etc and pointing out what the hook was and the meat and the punchline at the end to help with retention etc.
I've never seen any of your vids...and I watch gardening channels! So I was surprised to find you (a gardener) on a random interview that you recently gave about your business, dont remember that channel name it just came up on a saturday morning relax. You happen to show up in the comments and I actually just clicked on your name to see if you were the same guy and why you didnt come up as epic gardener. I have now watched all your vids here and hope you get back into this channel. This whole explanation I just gave is one perfect example of how to grow an audience-engage! lol-if you've read 'Infinity" you'll get that reference🙂
Hey from a Twitter friend. Loved this video. I'd love to get your opinion on strategy for new founders starting on UA-cam. If you started over today would you have still focused 100% on Epic Gardening (brand channel) or would you have created a founder channel that focused on you as the builder/avatar for the biz?
At this point, its what your viewers respond to. I have some videos on my other channel that have done well for NO REASON it seemed, but others I worked hard on and NUTHIN'. I just started watching my analytics and continue to let my audience be my guide.
I’d like to see you comment on videos that have so many cuts in their videos where you can clearly tell how it skips or cuts out. It drives me crazy how you see the skips. Wish they would clean this up and make it smoother
There are so many "genres" and making successful videos is most about how you connect to your audience and finding your people. And it takes years to grow a channel. The quarantine just gave a boost to a lot of people recently... I agree to roast your own videos and how you may change them if you could❤
What about a niche population talking about areas of interest in that subculture, ultimately to brand /sell their stuff (eg drag, musicians, yoga/fitness/mental health experts)
Ive always liked these type of slow videos. Im trying to let myself embrace a little of this with my own videos and not try too hard to go Mr. Beast on my editing. 😂

Yup definitely will do!
I love The Cottage Fairy! Followed her for awhile. Her videos are so soothing and relaxing. And her traditional skills are so impressive to me.
Totally agree - fantastic channel

That's the plan!

Appreciate the kind words Pedro! Glad you got some value out of this

Kevin!!!
How did I not know about this channel? I only knew you as Plant Daddy. 😂
This was fun. I like watching The Cottage Fairy.
Welcome aboard!
Very helpful, Kevin. Thank you.
If I had watched this video on my own my ADD would have pushed me to change channels, but your perspective is really interesting.
I follow the Cottage Fairy myself. It definitely is a peaceful channel. Lol. I've seen her face quite a lot. She actually got married a few months ago and showed us her pretty and simple-style dress. She looked very nice.
Yeah she's really upgraded her content lately!

Could do that!
Eric for the win!@@kevinmespiritu
I love this! I can’t wait to see more in the series!
Since you asked, I would love to see Garden Answer review & Dainty Diaries & something more self-aware like BooksandLaLa
Great calls! I will look at BooksandLaLa

Ha! Funny how it works sometimes. Happy to have you here :)
I love the cottage fairy! Her videos calm my anxiety.

Def would have done the same. Can't split focus early on

Yes, but there are principles behind what people respond to :)

LOL I should
This was a great video and could be a series. I would love to see an Isabel Paige analysis similar to this!
Great suggestion!
this reminds me of george dunnett you should do this with his channel
You should also do channel roasts! Id love to have a big youtuber absolutely drag me so i can learn 😂
Hahaha might have to...

I'll check them out!

Agree
You should reach out to Collin and Samir to do an interview!
Would love to hop on their show!
@@kevinmespiritu they just interviews Mr Beasts Manager and he was talking a lot about Farming/Gardening UA-cam so it would be great timing!
I find a little slowness to be good-relaxing-calming. Too much is boring and I skip over it....just like in books....too wordy and I skip paragraphs.
Yooo my name is also Kevin Espiritu!! Never new someone should also have my name out here!!
WHOA!
