Mistakes We Cover:
Overloading Slides: Experience the transformative power of minimalism. I’ll show you how cluttered slides can overwhelm your audience and how simplifying the content can make your message shine.
Low Image Quality: Discover the importance of using high-resolution images. I’ll take you through the process of selecting and optimizing images that make your slides visually striking and professional.
No Visual Hierarchy: Learn how to guide your audience's attention effectively. I'll demonstrate the art of creating a visual hierarchy that highlights key information and structures your presentation for maximum impact.
Inconsistency: See firsthand the negative effect inconsistency can have on your presentation's overall look and feel. I'll provide tips on maintaining a consistent style across your slides, from fonts and colors to layout and design.

Hey there! I'd say I'm pretty experienced with powerpoint not only as an everyday user but as a designer as well. What I'm not is blind. I love the effort you put into your videos! I noticed you added the small feature when the value for the percentage of competition whenever you moved on to a new subtopic. I'd like to know how you made it go up from 0 to that value and back. Even just replying to this comment should be fine as I know my way around the software. It doesnt have to be too boiled down either cuz I'd be able to understand even if you just gave me the gist of it. TIA!
Hi, thanks for noticing the details 🙏💜 The chapter parts are made in Final Cut Pro, using a motion Vfx template.
However more people have asked how to do it in PowerPoint, so I’ll try to simulate the same in ppt using morph. Pretty sure it can be done 👍
@@SlideSkills Ooh that's really cool! I mean technically it can be done on PowerPoint, it just take a while. But it's not impossible. You duplicate the slide how much ever times you want and change the number of each ig with 1 millisecond time spent on each slide. Anyways, Love you work and keep doing what you do!
My skills have significantly improved since I started watching your PowerPoint tutorials on UA-cam. Really thanks

An excellent tutorial. How were you able to show your pointer as a red dot? Is that capability available in PowerPoint 365 for Windows?
Hi David, I did it in presentation mode, right clicked the slide and that showed “pointer” option. Working on a Mac myself, but pretty sure it’s available in windows as well 🙏💜
@@SlideSkills Thank you! I am getting so much benefit and inspiration from your videos!
Trurly epic. Can u pls give me some tips for my natura diseaster presentation?
Appreciate it, you were super fast, I just uploaded it for members 😂🙏 anything in particular you would like to see? 💜
@@SlideSkills i did some stuff using a thing simillar to kahoot leaderboard thing as the subject is top 3 most tragic natural diseaster. The thing is that some of morph transitions dont work as the stuff disapears and i wanted to make a Giant block falling down doing like a bounce or two then turning into a courtain thingy as transition to the next slide. 💀
I see, for those things you’re best if you use animation paths with custom curves and timings. They tend to get a bit more complex though.
But if you keep organised in the animation pane you will get a long way 🙏

Sir i need to give a PowerPoint presentation about my school.pls give a video on this.pls.6-7 slideshow
Hi, it’s difficult to make a specific PowerPoint without knowing the details. You can use all my templates and see whichever one suits your message the best.
This could be a good example of a 5-6 slide deck ua-cam.com/video/y3d-p2i9H14/v-deo.htmlsi=Bf-iNO2UrGtaRlX9
🙏💜
You have discussed only 4 mistakes. Could you please make another video with 10 more mistakes that can ruin our presentations? Because I think it will be a really nice and important video for everyone out there who is Just a beginner in presentation.
Thanks for the feedback, glad to see this video format working well! I’ll definitely make a part 2 🙏💜

How you make your thumbnail
Hi, I've made this one with ChatGPT and Canva 🙏💜
the code of this yellow and the color in the background
Hi, easiest is to take a screenshot and add them to your slide 👍 I’ve added color palettes in my recent videos
I understand it's really difficult to create the wrong slides by yourself too.
It’s the part I struggled the most with 😂😂
Just out of interest, where do you download avenir next.
Hi, you can get it on sites like dafont or Google fonts 🙏
