- Welcome to a brand new series on the channel! After a long time playing minecraft hardcore, I want to take it back to basics and play some regular minecraft survival!
In Minecraft Survival Episode 1, we built perfect starter house. But today after some inspiration from the comments we are building a blacksmith building with a little bit of lore! We also name our camel, find our first diamonds, explore an abandoned mineshaft and also find a skeleton spawner!

Now that you have a skeleton spawner, it might be useful to make a XP and bonemeal farm. You could use the bonemeal to make bone blocks and texture them in with the wool and diorite for more white block variety.
It is so interesting and helpful to watch you plan, build and detail your builds. :)
Very often there is just a timelapse of the build. But in your series you can watch the thought process of the builds (Even tho it's sometimes messy xD). That's what I loved about the old survival series. I'm glad you kept it for this series too. ❤
Oh we are 100% kicking it old school with this series! Episodes are a little longer but I think it's ok :) but also I hope the new series is edited a little better 😂

15:03 "I need to craft myself some shears" as he proceeds to miss the shears right above the iron haha but it's a great video! That just made me laugh for whatever reason😁
Just found you, watched all of episode one, am in 8 minutes in episode two and yeah, yeah this is great! The way you do the commentary and the sped up footage while like also taking it easy in a way but also being fun, so good. Also I like the way you did the mining tunnel in the blacksmith, that is, the footage there was great.
So yeah, subscribed. This is really cool!

my fave builds of yours are when you incorporate a tree somehow, like the previous nether portal in your survival series or chimneys on bloodlines!! i absolutely love this series, the vibes, the playfulness... cant wait to see what you do next (as long as its building a frog fountain)
You can use calcite block for texturing with white blocks😊

since you don't have silk touch yet, maybe grow a 2x2 spruce tree next to the blacksmith to add some podzol with the coarse dirt

It could also look good if you mix some birch logs into the diorite and wool, and If you want you can do a gradient of them. Like diorite, birch logs then wool

How about a dock/port as the next project? to make it easy to explore the world and come back. Maybe with an area to offload all the crap into a future automated sorting storage underground thingy thing (maybe a dungeon or a cellar).
