@@arandomrathalos5495 Yes it does but at short distance, because have to make the 12 pellets to hit the target, this boss is a long distance shot, not sure if all the pellets will hit the target, maybe or not... and ammo is cheaper in Gen2 for tek rifle than shotgun. But every player have their own methods...
Trying to do it solo? The fight is long, but pretty sure you will be able to defeat the boss, I heard the FPS are terrible low, it was for me but seems is getting worse. GL!
@@e47jsh30 the good thing is that if u see things are not going well, you always can let them kill you and and get you tames and items back, just need 6 more mutagen to try again
@@confroggin1 same as the other missions that require to be teleported, if all the players got killed, the alives tames and dead bodies are teleported back to the mission terminal.
@@BatWithSumSkills And? If I had bought Genesis and finished it, what would there be for me to do with the hammer after I beat the boss and got it? Fjordur is the last map. There's nothing left to do except sandbox.

This is the second easiest boss fight [First being Aberration Rockwell].
I defeated the alpha with a tek rifle ON FOOT.
you can even do it alone not even on a tame but then with many armor sets and med brews

What were your reapers stats for this fight? Raising my first reaper so want to know how to lvl.
Mine was 50k health and 1.1k damage.

Tek rifle, even prim are the fastest option, can use other guns, just will take more time
From my perspective, the pump shotgun deals more damage per shot than a tek rifle
