So good to see Plushy and Yagudin together doing something collaboratively... are they? don't understand Russian... but still, it's fun to just see the 2 on the same show, sharing the same space! Love Zhanya! Fans from both camps should take a page of their book...
I also think so.. but I imagine it was difficult for Mishin to handle them both, since they are very different and both need a very different type of attention. Tarasova was tough to Yagudin, but was also there for him almost like a mother, she absolutely adored him and always says he is the best and can do everything. Plushenko on the other hand was happy Yagudin left, so the coach focused only on him and they went out together (ballet, concerts, theaters) a lot looking for new ideas. Ah well, they seem to get along now :)

Yagudin and Plushenko, both are the greatest skaters ever! I guess the tough competition stopped them from being a true companion! What a pity.

My guess is they had the potential of being good friends, but it is hard when you compete against each other and the coach was no help in the matter.
