Thank you for differentiating between deeper soul connections and superficial ones, it makes me more sure that I am watching the right channel because you don’t ascribe to society programed thinking “love must come right now!”.
I realize with myself and observing society too that we are all so impatient to find love, be loved and this comes from years of trauma. But real unconditional love is patient and understanding of another’s journey.
And you are absolutely right, if you aren’t experiencing that higher dimensional energy of love because you don’t choose to at a very deep level of readiness, then you won’t get it.

Continued...we met during COVID. We talked on the phone for two months. He was consoling me about the death of my son. (We had school, friends from the past and a good sense of humor. Our connection was never based on sex.) I was celibate

I don’t know her new number. I don’t answer numbers I don’t recognize. She could have left a message and I would have immediately called her back. My soul recognized who she was on our first date. I knew she had issues but I accepted her for who she was and was very much in love with her. I trusted her with my life so when she lied to me it really threw me off and she broke up with me. I contacted her a couple months later and she started lying to me again. Many of us understand Kelly. There are connections who affect us differently & you don't know until you experience it. Personally I am in it right now. I tried again with my Sarge and we are so intensely attracted to eachother, but his work & our kids and schedules get in the way. We get frustrated because we can't see eachother. I can't even tell you the argument I ended up in with a girlfriend because I set him free for a year and he graduated and took him back and got to see him graduate.Im the one who encouraged to keep trying to get into the school's, so it was an honor..She got so nasty with me. But I promised myself if the patterns continued and unfortunately he didn't keep promises, didn't see me & left me out of everything...Which is not what I want. Then yes, he turned it on me.. that's when I said, ok - we're not doing this. And he tried twisting it back to me & said hurtful things to push me away...Honestly, the good thing about the distance & not able to see eachother is we weren't intimate. But I can tell you that even so, for me, this is the most intense reaction I've ever had for someone. Even over my Ex who I've known for over 20 years.
