Every merchant has one like if you were to go inside a building with a merchant and you clip through a wall you'd see it you would have to platform around with a do not delete chest or multiple of them and they will have another do not delete chest
Merchant chests is the best way if you want to access a merchant's inventory. They have all sorts of stuff, like gold, enchanted weapons, soul gems (empty and full), etc based on the merchant. The loot scales with your level, so the higher your level, the better the items. Plus, these chests reset every 2 in-game days as long as you’re not nearby and also taking from them doesn’t count as stealing.
You can also like infinitely duplicate glitch gold bars with a companion at the Whiterun gate and use them to craft like 16 billion golden rings to get your smithing to 100.
only takes about 700 gold bars so 1400 rings (i don't really dupe but transmute ore and every piece of ore equals a ring since two ore makes one bar and one bar makes two rings so i know how much iron i need to mine if i want to level smithing)
Yeah, it’s pretty still time consuming even when duplicate glitching because you have to drop each item individually so they don’t stack up for it to work properly.
@@Mae1strom yeah still feels lazy on a new character but grinding the last 10 levels or something, also there's a similar method that dropping them each time, leave around 20(more will crash depending on what your playing on) on the ground next to your waiting follower and just have them pick them up leave re enter and repeat no need to trade and re drop every time
@@joeywillams3081Yeah, fair enough. It is pretty lazy, you’re right. I feel like on the contrary the smithing skill is crazy with how difficult it is to level up though. Like feels like I’m over here smithing iron daggers for like 5 hours straight and not even making a dent in the skill tree. But I digress.
This is literally the first exploit I learned back in 2013 when I first played the game. I'm fairly certain that everyone knows it well enough to know the much easier version where you clip through the wall behind the companions hall between the practice dummies with a plate
I usually just use the one in Dawnstar to star as long as you had 50 gold when you get to Whiterun and aren't overencumbered, you can get the Trader chest underground next to the mine, no glitching thru walls or under the map just can empty it right there, it's even better if the merchant caravan is there cause save after taking stuff, attack that merchant and reload and it's restocked, it's also good later on to just get some extra gold, ingredients, armor/weapons crafting material, and soul stones
I remember learning this one when the game came out. You don’t need to walk along the arch lol you can just jump out any direction or way you want and you can get out of whiterun
You're going the hard way LOL I'll go up the roof of a house then jump at the top of the gates then shimmy through when are the top parts of the Stonewall and there you go may not sound easier but it is and it's more fun to do and I've known this since the first year of the game was out.
Theres also a mausoleum even further under whiterun that houses all the dead npcs, they're all "alive" and walking around, and you can even kill them again.
You can phase right through the wall of the companions hall as well. Then you never have to leave the walls of whiterun. Use a wooden plate or a platter to phase through, then its basically a straight shot.
another way to get this chest is to take something big (armour, bucket etc.) put it up against the door in the rock under the forge and use the whirlwind sprint shout to phase through the rock and then make your way to the chest and presto you got his wares.
and there’s five in the thieves, guild underwater there’s one outside the gate to solitude There’s one in dawnstar by the mines. There’s one outside of markarth
I learned this before killing my first ever frost troll Here’s a small trick for everyone saying it’s hard: if you’re near the wall, you’ll always hit the invisible ceiling they added to “patch” this glitch back in the 360/ps3 days. But you can just stand on the edge of the barrel and strafe jump to the corner. If you’re about to fall off, keep jumping. The invisible wall to the outside is narrow, but you can walk along to the other side where there shouldn’t be an invisible wall.
I found this when Skyrim first came out but I got there by going up past the barrack, walked onto the rise by the wall, jumped onto the roof, onto the wooden crossed roof end then onto the city wall. I fell through the floor and landed outside. I ran around the walls until I got bored. It just so happened that to get back in I tried to push my way into the walls and popped in by that chest.
There is a better way. Leap from the edge of Skyforge's hill to the Companions' rooftop and from there to the nearby guard post roof. At that point you are already beyond the wall and you only need to drop over the side. This places you far closer to where you want to be and it's easier to accomplish than the front gate exploit.
Then after emptying the chest, quick save and then shout a Fus at the blacksmith if he's using the grindstone to aggro him, then quick load and his inventory will be reset, so you can loot the chest indefinitely
The easiest way out is to use the world win shout and aim at the back of the companions' back door. As you'll probably be over incombered after looting the chest over and over again.
Hold a platter to the second to last window on the left side of the companions building and sprint into it to phase closer if that doesn't work try another window if the player falls try again
or you press the command key ` and put 'tlc' in en clip direct next to companions cave and you also get there, within a week you can try the same trick again and again. Happy new year every one ;)
After you get into the chest. Wait tell he's using the grind wheel. Then talk to him see his inventory. It will reset it the chest. You can only do this once. Wait like 4 days i think and it will reset. Rinse and repeat
Don't do any of this instead go up to dragons reach and steal a plater, then go to the wall next to the under forge place that plater against the wall and run or whirlwind Sprint at it either will work fine and your in. The spot can be a little tricky to find but once you do it works every time. Ps. Its closer to the targets then to the underforge
This was like the FIRST THING that I did when I played Skyrim for the first time Currently playing it now (as of 2024, started played around early 2020) and I now have almost 250k in gold coins Literally grinded, but hard work pays off am I right?
There is a shorter way Go to the wall behind the companion building and go next to the archery target Some npc lean against the wall. There you can go through the wall with a plate by running in it and voila You are outside the city ! 😄
You know you can just walk into one of wall of the a specific house in white run and it will let you fall out of map and you can walk to the outside to get all the chest it’s easier than this.
I did the dawnstar deal to get started, then learned about duplicating east empire pendants to sell in Solstheim to Fethis Alor. Now I'm a millionaire and buy whatever I want.
I’m assuming you can’t actually take the Skyforge Steel stuff unless you join the Companions though, because they don’t show up in Eorlands inventory until you join them.
There is much easier way. Best to look up videos but inside white run where the tree is in the middle of that circle. The house with the cows on it has a place to literally stand and it just drops you under the map 100% everytime. So easy I’ve done it on accudent
You can hold a silver platter from the companion hall & sprint into the wall just down from Skyforge between the wooden targets by the companions hall. Height & luck are necessary but youll get it more often than your failures to make it work would initially suggest (yes you look stupid as shit when you fail, no, nobody cares) once youre out you can repeat this same process of thieving from Greymane
Get a big silver plate dinner dish put it right on the left side of the left wall run-through it and your out with ease I did this lots of times works like a charm❤🙂😎👍❤️!
yeah I never understood this. Skyrim isn't exactly a difficult game to begin with. And, 13 years on, why are you even still enjoying this game if this is the way you like to play? At the end of the day, it's their game and not mine so I don't really care; I just feel like, if you're going to cheat, using the console is a lot easier.
You just now found this one? Look up the merchant chests. There's, like, 8 of them throughout Skyrim. There's walk-throughs online.
There is a spot where you can literally fall through the ground and can walk/run to the chest

Been doing that for years 😂
When I do that, I always remember the backrooms.
Yup. It's way easier.
I remember doing that when they had an update on PS3 that stopped you from being able to jump over the wall
I always did it with a platter at jorvasker (yes I know it's not spelled right)

The fact that can be said about a game to me is impressive over a decade in age and still new tips and tricks frequently absolutely amazing to me
@@fatal_havoc4819 no doubt I clearly remember doing this what must be hundreds of times by now😅
What a thing to do to a man, imagine how disappointed his merchant children are when daddy merchant doesn't bring home some bread and cheese wheels

A silver platter works best if your talking about wall clipping directly under the sky forge
