HI SIR HOPE YOU ARE FINE SIR I WANT TO ASK ONE QUESTION IF BEAM IS MORE THAN 12MTR WHICH SIDE JOINT (MEANS TAPERED PLATE JOINT) SUTIBALE RIDGE SIDE ARE EVE SIDE?
It doesn't matter,points to consider are apex joints and the haunch or the connection between column and the rafter, these are the joints which transmits loads to column from roof,then to foundation and get dumped into ground.
