Not all asian made binos are made in China, the top quality ones are made in Japan. Ever heard of KamaKura?

To clarify; With regards to optical performance, are you saying the optical performance suffers due to the fact it is a laser range finding binocular? And where do you feel this particular binocular fall in that regards. What would be a comparable non range finding Leica or Zeiss or Swarovski in term of optical performance? Thanks..

The optical performance does not suffer at all due to the the laser range finder. The laser is located on the outside and does not interfere the optical quality. You can check out the comparable non-rangefinding binoculars here:
