    Awesome video. Im a medical lab scientist student and had 6 weeks of choice free clinicals and 4 days out of those 6 weeks i get to sit with someone who does TTE and he lets me do a lot, this video was very helpful, coming from a student who doesnt know hardly anything about it

    Thank you so much for a simplified version of cardiac ECHO. Do you have videos on lung, abdominal POCUS? If yes, please please please post them.

    Just wondering you said the indicator dot on the tranducer in the apical views is facing up, I thought it faces down?

    • @atchiem
      @atchiem  9 років тому +1

      In apical, indicator dot is pointed to the patient’s right if the screen dot is on the left. Indicator dot should be pointed to the left if the screen dot is on the right. It is the same image on the screen, but different conventions. Hope that helps!

    Why use a linear (vascular) probe in your video? Adult and Pediatric Echo is done with a sector probe. Fetal Echo is done with a curved linear probe.
    Otherwise nice video.

    • @atchiem
      @atchiem  4 роки тому

      I only used the linear probe briefly to demonstrate transducer movement. In the rest of the video, a phased array transducer is used.
