@@kristinc.2371 thank you! If they over mature, yes. I pick them young and haven't had any stringy ones 😊 I usually pick them when they are about 18-24" long and are still pretty green and not pale.
They do not have strings. I pick them young also, about forearm length. The pods get tough as the bean grows to the stage of the bean visible through the pod.
