I didn't know this saying, but I find it encouraging : "You don't really have to be the best, you just have to be the most improved."
Many people think Jin is the just a goofy guy who likes do dad jokes. But in reality, he is quite reserved and a introvert. He internalizes a lot his feelings.
Lately, Jin, Jimin and Yoongi did a vlive and fans were asking what members were doing, and Jin replied "Nothing much, just sleeping..."
Jimin asked to Jin why is hiding the fact that he is praticing piano. Jimin said "do you know Jin-hyung has been practicing piano? Hyung why are you hiding that you're practicing piano? Tell everyone you're practicing piano!"
Jin is this type of guy who doesn't show his hardwork. I remember when Tae said he practices till late night in his hotel room. In the recent vlive, even though Jimin said Jin has been practicing piano, Jin hid it with "oh all I do is sleep". His hardwork is only for him to know.
I really like this quote by Jin : "Your hardwork is only yours to know".
There are many reasons why I love him, but Jin is really humble despite the fact he is always saying "he is wordwide handsome".
I remember, in the vlive for this new year 2020. His new resolution was to pratice playing piano and he is fulfilling his promise behind our back. And in 2020 Season greetings's DVD, he only had one resolution for year 2019 which was to write a song by himself and he made it happen. This song is "Tonight".

I am glad that you have found the saying “You don’t really have to be the best, you just have to be the most improved”. I particularly follow this in my everyday life because I know that there’s always going to be better than I am, and even if I could not reach the top and be the best, I know that if I have been the most improved, I have shown a true success in achieving a specific goal. Most people nowadays thought that being the best is the real deal, but they don’t know that no one is going to be the best forever. Everything here on Earth is temporary . What’s important is improving yourself everyday and inspiring others to do the same. By the way, I read your comments and it was so meaningful and no worries about English, I truly appreciate that you actually spent the time writing longer and I can assure you that I understood your message very well. @@REACTIONSUNLIMITED The members joined from 2010-2012..Jin, in 2011, is a genuine *HEART* ,he breaks the ice when they meet people & he's very kind & thoughtful!..He seems chill, but crazy hard worker behind the scenes..When they were at an award show, he saw one idol standing alone in front of them, he walked next to him, dancing to the music & made the guy feel loved=not alone..That's our amazing Jin!!..RM finally realized that what he originally thought was that Jim had no passion, cuz he was chill, that he practiced over & over behind the scenes & gained so much respect for him, w/a beautiful, clear voice!!..💜
Jimin also was shy, last to join 2012, a really good dancer, but with no singing experience & was really insecure w/only 6-9 mos. vocal training (not years like the others), some staff though he wouldn't make it many times, not enough time, b4 TV Debut June 2013...He worked crazy hard night & day & finally debuted as Main Dancer, Lead Vocalist, w/a natural heartbreaking voice..I want a documentary on him, too..💜

he started from zero without any musical experience just cuz of his handsome face , now he is one of the most praised members for his vocal skills not just his looks. the only member Grammy wrote about , praising his falsettos high notes , stability his natural vibrato, his ability to change from his head voice to his chest voice, NME praised his high note in Dionysus , his high note in Dionysus was called hte best moment of the album, his high note in crystal snow was all over k media, KMA praised his high note in fake love and ... , he is the most selfless person I saw he downplay himself to make others shine more, he is very smart very strong but never bring it up cuz he doesnt want others highlight points get less attention, he doenst show his weaknesses and just show a goofy side to make ppl happy , he call himself worldwide handsome but when ppl call him handsome he gets red and when jk and fans told him he was selected as the most handsome man in hte world by kings choice he was all frustrated saying he isnt its just too big for him, he is the most complicated member and u will get to know more about him only if u try to know more cuz he hide behind his goofy persona, u know him when u read the interview the florist did after he joined bts at RUN episode , he said : When the shoot was over, Jin approached him to explain that “because a lot of the members are a bit shy, he tried to brighten up the atmosphere and make it funny with certain words or actions,” Isaac says. “He apologized for anything he had said or done that might have struck me as rude or offensive. I was really touched. I had really enjoyed my time with them but Jin was always thinking about how his actions and words could affect somebody else. I personally really like people like Jin who think outside the box. Some might think it's weird, but it's just being different.” In the episode, Isaac suggests that he and Jin work together in the future, and he meant it. "[Working with Jin on] anything to do with flowers would be very interesting."
real jin isnt all what we see on camera , he is precious it was all little examples, UNICEF officially announced him as a member of 'UNICEF Honors Club' with a generous donations without ppl knowing , he isnt for show, he is genuinely nice person, he is precious.
jin is a member who came from a rich family, he was able to study in australia, he knows how to play golf etc, he has his own car and credit card during their trainee days, he used his personal savings for the members’ food, he treated hobi to a buffet, he bought jungkook hotel food, he stole and brought to their dorm his mother’s cooking/kitchen utensils etc but he never brag...he is very humble

his family was well off but he chose to struggle alongside of other members while he could have easier life, he didnt know they could get to were they are now but still he chose that life and strove to be here. he didnt have any experience and even his dream was being an actor, but he stayed with the others driving kookie to school, being there for others , waking up sooner than other to make food, and he never mentioned his sacrifices, he just think its his duty as an older brother, he is just precious.

u know I was a fan from start but jin was the reason I called myself ARMY, the moment I get to see a little of his real self he hide behind his goofy persona . I love all the boys ofc, they are all lovely and tae was the first one who I thought was my bias but knowing more about jin he became my ult bias after I really tried to understand him .he has been my ult bias for years now , I have to say u wouldnt go wrong with picking a bias in bts but one of the boys might become ur ult bias and stay there firmly.

Jin is good person , many people are not aware of the development of the Jin ability from the results of his hard work. Jin entered the agency without auditioning and he entered without music or dancing experience, he came from an acting school and we can see that Jin is now an extraordinary person for his hard work
I can relate to Jin so much. He gave me reasons to work harder and improve myself.

I heard Jin was first scouted by SM because of his good looks but he rejected it thinking it was just a scam. and then he was scouted by Big Hit after getting off the bus and boom that is where it all started worldwide handsome!!!

SM is known for hunting visuals lol. and let me give u some more info actually before being scouted he was already very popular for his looks , there was even some tourists who was visiting SK and thought he is some kinda celebrity and asked him to take a pic with them this was before he got into bts and that tourists later shared the photos, this things happened to him a lot even before being in bts.

I love what you guys said about Jin having a group who believed that Jin will be very valuable to them someday. I've always known that, but never thought to phrase it that particular way. The sentiment just became more vibrant to me. RM did say that Jin might turn out to be their secret weapon. And Jin did say that he found himself surrounded by good people, and that was his secret as well as advice for success. Jin is still catching up til now in terms of producing and composing, but the boys have his back.

I realized Some careless Armys, don’t care about Jin. Some ARMYS are like: I’m so sad Jin is leaving. Other ARMYS respond with: I know I’m so sad I’m gonna be depressed. Then the respond to that is: it’s fine. I know it’s sad. Let him leave. I have no idea why other ARMYS just let the problem of a member leave wil just over come. A lot of ARMYS bring down Jin and I’m so sad. Atleast there are real ARMYS like us that can protect them.
