Hi Phil, I have hand built track before but decided to give up as I don't have the time with my work commitments to hand build all the turnouts on this large project, so I've gone back to Peco. I'm considering taking out the slip all together. Best regards, Jeremy.
I think this shows 3 things: 1 How good the detail is on modern N stuff 2 How something like that post depot can be full size, yet not take up the whole board! 3 How infectious your videos are! Can't wait for more.....
Cheers Paul. The quality of continental N scale has alway been very high. Take the LS Models Nightjet stock (can't remember which video I featured it in), the detail is some of the highest I have seen in this scale. Sounds like N could be the way forward for you, at least you will not have any restrictions space wise that way. Look forward to seeing your project. Best regards, Jeremy.
@@jezbo7827 Yeah, the nightjet is in this one ...and fantastic! I was thinking that N didn't have sound...but that's wrong too, so leaning towards N. Plus I can do RhB, even if a bit of a compromise in N. Cheers
Hi John, thank you for looking in. I am still doing the hobby however work has got in the way and I’ve been particularly busy. I am still doing a little bit of scratchbuilding, wired up some of the main running lines and bought a few more items of stock. Hopefully get around to an update soon on the layout.
