Block B is a fun group. If you ever a chance please check out Zico. The main rapper of Block B. Can't wait until you get to Big Bang. They will knock your socks off.
And now that he's served his military enlistment time, I cannot WAIT to hear his voice again... and just a bonus now that he's tatted up and ripped! 🤣❤️ #BlockBFanboy
I love Taeil, I was never a huge fan of Block B - although I keep them in like.. my top 10 kpop groups - they had some amazing shit! But Taeil is still one of my favorite kpop boys and vocalists!
@@behindzerosp They technically didn't disband, but leader Zico left the company in 2018. The rest are still in the company and the company said they will discuss future of the group with all the members... at the moment most of the members are in the army.
Ohhhhh Block B. Their music is so damn good. Very Good was everywhere and is still around years later. Nillili Mambo and the whole Blockbuster album is fantastic. Be the Light is my favorite Block B song because it’s so beautiful and was their first single after leaving their label (there’s a whole quite tragic story there) so it has extra meaning to it. Also, Taeil doesn’t get mentioned enough when talking about great kpop vocalists so I’m glad you talked about his voice! Finally, poor Yukwon getting his ass kicked in multiple MVs lmao
Block B! The original rowdy boys. They were kind of a mess, but they never felt...malicious with it? Like, sometimes they just needed someone to sit them down and go "Ok, kiddos, we're gonna learn you some stuff today", lol. Loads of bangers in their discography, and their album Blockbuster is one of my all-time faves. I don't know why people only seem to cover Very Good! Also, their tall deep-voiced maknae P.O. is a squish who LOVES KISSES. There is footage of him pecking ASTRO's Eunwoo on the cheek. I felt like this was vital information to impart.
Be the light was the song they released after having some issues with their former agency and having a little hiatus due to it. It's a theory that the member getting beaten up is a representation of the group going through those hard times, and the "light" they're singing about are the fans that waited patiently for them. Very Good was also released at that time, so yes! They're connected. I guess the implication was "Now that we are fully recovered, we will go back to being a mess" or something like that haha. Thanks for reacting to them!!
Block B is amazing and not well knowm enough exept for Zico ofcourse. I know you'll love the songs Her, Jackpot and Shall We Dance. Block B realy has their own style. Even when they do something difderent music wise, it's still unmistakable (hope I wrote that right, not a native speaker) Block B.
Waaaaaaaaaaay back in the day, I used to be really into Block B's music. Haven't heard "Be The Light" in such a long time. All of them are such good artists. You definitely need to check out "NalinA", "Toy", and "Jackpot" (which is also tied to "Very Good" slightly with the outfits.) Important info about "Jackpot" from a comment left on their MV: "I've said it before and I'll say it again: Jackpot really is so under appreciated. It takes a massive swing at the entire k-pop industry with not just the lyrics but also the MV. They openly criticize how it's an extremely predatory industry and aspiring idols will be pulled in to stuff they weren't even remotely prepared for at a very vulnerable age, and it's also reflective of what they themselves went through with their first company. The actress being so young and vulnerable, approaching something she both wants and fears with more courage than what's good for her, going through a dub con transformation, ending up strong and confident enough to say her piece and then getting attacked for it is no coincidence."
Like there's so much iconic stuff about the Very Good mv, but I don't think I'll ever get over just how GOOD U-Kwon looks. All of his outfits in this mv are lethal, like the scenes where he has the guitar, but esp the scene with the mask????? Icon shit.
These videos were part of their Seven Villains concept. There are a few things that run through almost all of these mvs: Taeil has an obsession with cutlery and lollipops, Kyung has large knives and whips, P.O.'s hair colour changes all the time and U-Kwon gets beaten up or in fights. The big guys who were kicking U-Kwon in Be The Light are seated at the dining table in Very Good. The hula girls who are carrying Zico in Very Good are in Jackpot as well. The clown masks also make a return for Jackpot. It's basically just a lot of little things to keep an eye out for.
Omg a block b reaction. Not many reactions to them since they’re not currently active as a group. This is a pleasant surprise :’o Edit: hell yeah so glad u loved them especially Very Good!! Truly legend behavior. Cant wait for u to see Jackpot and Her

I’m glad you enjoyed their songs. Some comments I want to give: -Nilili mambo: I’ve never heard a song like this in kpop before. The “orchestral pirate music”-genre is really underused. Fun fact: the “chipmunk voice” at the end is actually a pasta recipe sped up lol. -Be the light: as another comment said, this song was just after their lawsuit with their first company, the MV and lyrics relate heavily to it (some more info: their first company didn’t treat them very well and didn’t pay them properly, but the court ruled in favor of the company. The CEO also ran away with money from the members’ parents and later committed su*cide. The company later allowed a transfer of management to seven seasons, a sub label of KQ entertainment. Apart from Zico, who founded his own label, the other members are still there.) Block B is known for being wild and edgy, but their more emotional songs like this one (and also Toy and Don’t leave, which I’m sure you’ll love) are really beautiful. -Very good: yup, there is a storyline. The clown thing will come up again in Jackpot. They don’t have a story in every video tho. -if you ever plan to do a full album listen for them, I’d suggest “blockbuster” or “montage”. They’re great bodies of work and two of my favorite albums in kpop. -there’s some more not-so-great hairstyle coming up in future videos and Zico is a repeat offender here (honestly, him and g-dragon are like the kings of bad hairstyles imo), but I hope you’ll enjoy their MVs nonetheless. -Lastly, thank you for reacting to block b! I know this was a request, but still it makes me happy to see you enjoy my favorite groups. In general, your reactions are always so honest and open minded and you’re a joy to watch, so thank you for giving us so much content. I’m sure it’s a lot of work to upload so often, but I really appreciate it💕 [edit: taeil, their oldest and cutest member, main vocal and the voice you liked is a fantastic singer. I suggest you to watch his solo song “inspiring” either as a reaction or on your own, it’s quite beautiful. Be The Light is a representation of what happens when the people who are supposed to care about you and look out for you, allow you to get the sh*t kicked out of you. Which is basically what happened with their original agency. They were exploited and when they got into a scandal caused by a misunderstanding, the agency did pretty much nothing to protect them. They're basically saying with the mv, 'We're beaten, we're bruised, but we're still standing and we're still seven'.
Yes, we got to block b!!!!!! They are great! I've been with them since their debut! I really want to see your reaction to their debut XD XD XD Their music changed a lot after they left the 1st company and I'm glad. They had more freedom Their music is pure chaos and energy

Oooh I love Block-B, they were one of the first groups I found, can you please react to U-Kwon’s hit the stage Joker performance? He’s the one that had the really cool black mask and got chased by the dog. He’s such an amazing performer.
Zico and P.O. they are the best friends with MINO from Winner ♥ And maybe you don't know this but MINO would had been a Block B member but he left before they debuted and joined to YG ♥
In case you're still wondering if youve heard Block B's Very Good before If you have watched Road to Kingdom, in pentagons Sceond round i belve (were they covered iconic kpop songs) they did the rock 'n roll version if Block B's very good. So anyway thats probably were you've heard the hook from ^^
I totally agree, this is the music video i would show someone who wanted to know what kpop was all abaout. its so insane, and also brilliant, edgy and funny at the same time. I am very late to Block B [despite having been listening to Zico for some time]. The Block B train is one hell of a wild ride
10:10 ahh, so you've been introduced to the beauty that's Taeil's voice :D FWIW I couldn't even LISTEN to Be The Light for months because Taeil's voice would always make me cry.
Yeah Block B is an amazing 2nd gen group ♡ nobody sounds like them ♡ can't wait for the other parts of them XD your reaction was also my reaction when i heard them the first time haha but that was back in 2012 😄
I had the very same response of Very Good when I first saw the mv🤣 BlockB was my favorite kpop group for last few years and naturally I'm now a fan of Stray Kids. I really think somehow Stray Kids has a vibe of being post-BlockB.(oc they are unique the way the are) BlockB produce most of their music by themselves and also create concept for mv, fashion, etc as well. I really think you will also enjoy more mature version of them listening songs like Toy, A few Years Later, or Don't Leave 👍

Very good seriously haunts me 😭 I'll be washing the dishes and my brain just goes 'I'M VERY VERY GOOOOOOOOOOOOD'
Oh Block B!!! I hope you listen to Zero For Conduct (Block B Bastarz - a subunit). It was the second kpop song I ever heard.
Very Good was my introduction to Kpop all those years ago. Instantly hooked, so glad it happened.
Block b is all over my workout playlist
Zico and P.O. they are the best friends with MINO from Winner ♥ And maybe you don't know this but MINO would had been a Block B member but he left before they debuted and joined to YG ♥
My favorite Mashup, Block B - Tik Tok Mambo. It was done so well. I hope you check it out here on UA-cam.
In case you're still wondering if youve heard Block B's Very Good before
If you have watched Road to Kingdom, in pentagons Sceond round i belve (were they covered iconic kpop songs) they did the rock 'n roll version if Block B's very good.
So anyway thats probably were you've heard the hook from ^^
Not at the audio of the ending clip of nilili mambo being a pasta recipe sped up and played backwards
Please react to more Block B! Her and Toy are my personal favs :)
15:21 omg I love ur face expressions when u surprise and confused 😭😭
I totally agree, this is the music video i would show someone who wanted to know what kpop was all abaout. its so insane, and also brilliant, edgy and funny at the same time. I am very late to Block B [despite having been listening to Zico for some time]. The Block B train is one hell of a wild ride
I got into kpop bc my friend asked why zico was rapping with an ostrich in HER - love my boys since !
It's cute reaction 🥺, I recommend Fuego by Ukwon (the same guy who got punched)
you should see her by block b lol its hilarious
10:10 ahh, so you've been introduced to the beauty that's Taeil's voice :D
FWIW I couldn't even LISTEN to Be The Light for months because Taeil's voice would always make me cry.
you know the song (very good) from road to kingdom! it’s the one pentagon did for the first round
Block B are icons!
The red hair guy is P.O,he is mino’s best friend 😆
I have not laughed that hard at a video in so fucking long lmao
"Well now I'm invested"
Block B is less “badass” and cool and more... silver age comic book villain. Just... absurd, all over the place, wild, and ridiculously fun
Omg my BOYZZZ!!!!!!!!
I am so happy that you like them. haaaaaa
Does anyone else see the resemblance of Zico in Nillili Mambo to Kyo from Dir en grey(jrock) in Child Prey?
I haven’t watched the video yet, but wow, when you said very soon you really meant VERY SOON😂🙈
Ehehehehehehe
LOL people used to call Zico 'Jamaican Beggar' because of that hairstyle. It was a phase, kind of like RM's fauxro was a phase.
Highly recommend the rock version of very good
You recognize Very Good because Pentagon performed it on RTK haha
U would love Taeil (Block B) x Luna (f(x)) - It Was Love
You recognize Very good chorus because Pentagon covered in Road to Kingdom...
Also Bastarz is a subgroup of theirs, watch their stuff!
I personally love the hair. it always felt pirate-y to me. lol
I love block b :')
Wait til you get to Jackpot, Toy & Yesterday.
Next freeze , tell them, nanrina, jackpot
Plz react to their sub unit too 😍 Block B Bastarz their song is catchy and good too thanks
